West Trenton NJ,  Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal and Colonel Patrick J. Callahan announced today that the New Jersey State Police have arrested Andre Sulimenko, 56, of Barnegat, N.J., and United States Postal Service employees William Woolley, 52, of Jackson, N.J., and Nicholas Gooskos, 41, of Spring Lake, N.J. for various drug and weapon offenses and seized 2 kilograms of fentanyl, heroin, 54 guns, and high-capacity magazines.

Ridgewood NJ, a question came up on whether to “mask up” in the Ridgewood post office lobby , according to the USPS website ,the USPS is Requesting customers use face coverings while in our retail facilities located in jurisdictions that have implemented orders requiring use of face coverings by individuals within those jurisdictions. Our suggestion is to “mask up : and if someone forgets please to courteous and most importantly WASH YOUR HANDS !

US Postal Service Has Advised all County Clerks in the State to send out ballots 10 days before the Election to give enough time for voters to return their ballots

Hackensack NJ, The USPS has advised all County Clerks in the State to send out ballots 10 days before the Election to give enough time for voters to return their ballots. We will stop sending in-County ballots this Saturday, 10/24. Voters who contact our office by 1:00pm on Saturday will be given the option of having us send their ballots out by mail or be prepared for pick-up.

Camden NJ, A Gloucester County, New Jersey, man today admitted to stealing gift cards and cash from mail that passed through post offices where he was employed, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced.

Daniel Talorico, 40, of Sewell, New Jersey, pleaded guilty by videoconference today before U.S. District Judge Joseph H. Rodriguez to an information charging him with one count of theft of mail by a postal employee.

Feds Nab Postal Employee Dumping Election Ballots

West Orange NJ, A U.S. Postal Service (USPS) mail carrier from Hudson County was arrested today for discarding mail, including 99 general election ballots sent from the County Board of Elections and intended to be delivered to West Orange residents, from his assigned routes in Orange and West Orange, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced.

Nicholas Beauchene, 26, of Kearny, New Jersey, is charged by complaint with one count of delay, secretion, or detention of mail and one count of obstruction of mail. He is scheduled to appear this afternoon before U.S. Magistrate Judge Cathy L. Waldor in Newark federal court.

In Person Protest to Promote Vote-by-Mail in Fair Lawn

FAIR LAWN NJ, Local grassroots groups are rallying in Fair Lawn in support of the U.S. Postal Service and mail-in voting as the Trump administration seeks to undermine both. The rally will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22 on the sidewalk outside the U.S. Post Office at 14-24 Abbott Road. Remember its to dangerous to vote in person ,but protests are always safe.

No Matter What ,We Blame Al Gore For the Demise of the US Postal Service

Ridgewood NJ, on July 27th the Postmaster General Louis DeJoy delivered some grim news on the US Postal service,  The Postal Service is in a financially unsustainable position, stemming from substantial declines in mail volume, and a broken business model. We are currently unable to balance our costs with available funding sources to fulfill both our universal service mission and other legal obligations. Because of this, the Postal Service has experienced over a decade of financial losses, with no end in sight, and we face an impending liquidity crisis.

Postal Service Warns of Missed Mail-in Ballot Deadlines

Ridgewood NJ, the U.S. Postal Service is warning some states that they need to provide more time for those votes to be counted. According to the Washington Post ,the Postal Service  in a letter has warned a total of 46 states and the District of Columbia of mail delays. The Garden State was not included in the warning.
