West Saddle River Road, North Monroe Street, Union Street and Downs Street have all been paved. Thank you to all our residents in these neighborhoods for their patience and cooperation! Next up, working with Bergen County to resurface Ackerman Avenue this fall.

Ridgewood NJ, milling of West Saddle River Road revealed that manhole repairs must be made before the street can be resurfaced. These repairs are required to maintain the integrity of the roadway. Barring any other unforeseen circumstances, paving should take place on Thursday or Friday of this week.

Ridgewood NJ, according to the Village Manager Kieth Kazmark, on Monday the Village broke ground on the much needed road improvements on West Saddle River Road. ADA curb ramps are being installed prior to the road being milled and paved later this summer.

Saddle River NJ, Saddle River Police Department has issued a Traffic Alert! West Saddle River Road will be closed in both directions at Dater lane until further notice. Recent heavy rains have undermined the road causing a significant collapse under the steel plates. Bergen County has responded to barricade the roadway and prepare for reconstruction. This project will take many months and the road will be closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Due to the hazards, large fencing will be established for safety reasons to prevent anyone from walking into the work zone.

Upper Saddle River NJ, the Upper Saddle River Police received a 911 call reporting an attempted vehicle theft on West Saddle River Road. A short time later, two males matching the descriptions of the perpetrators were located in the vicinity of Carlough Road.
