Ridgewood NJ, as many of you are aware Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church has suspended all masses until further notice and the church has set up a  Go Fund Me  page . Father Ron explained in a message on the OLMC Facebook page:

“I have had a number of inquiries about the GoFundMe page. It is not a hoax but please understand it is not an extra or new fund raiser. It is a tool to offer continued support for the parish. If you already use WE SHARE (the icon is on this homepage) don’t change. It is meant for those who may have been using envelopes, or cash as a means of supporting the parish and want to continue to do so. I know these extraordinary times may have difficult economic impacts on many. That judgment is always yours and I will always respect it.
Finally, if there is anything we can do for you, or if you know of any need out there, please let me know. The best way is by email, ronr@olmcridgewood.com
God bless. Be well & Be Safe,
Fr. Ron”

Welcome to this Go Fund Me page for Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Ridgewood NJ.

This opportunity is offered as a tool for those who want to continue to support the parish in these difficult days and were accustomed to giving through the envelope system or other means of support.  If you already use the electronic system, that’s fine.  This is not intended as an extra fund raiser.  While the structure of the giving arrangement with the GoFundMe page relates to the Archdiocese, all the funds donated to Mount Carmel will come to Mount Carmel.  And I understand this emergency may strain the financial well being of many.  I leave that to your own judgment.
While  many of the usual parish activities/events are on hold, the parish staff continues developing plans for our return to normalcy, as well as continued efforts to provide resources for you to use  to both stay in touch and experience the love God has for all of us in this emergency  Go to our website to link to so many of these resources, as well as our weekly bulletin. You can also find many of these same resources on our Facebook page. Be well, be safe and be blessed. Msgr Ron Rozniak, Pastor.
