Washington DC, the US Securities and Exchange Commission intends to take legal action against Coinbase if the exchange follows through with plans to launch Lend, a program that would allow users to earn interest on lended assets, the company revealed late Tuesday.

Home Health Agency to Pay $17 Million to Resolve Kickback Allegations

Honig and Acting Assistant Attorney General Brian M. Boynton of the Justice Department’s Civil Division announced today.

Division of Child Protection Caseworker Charged With Improperly Accessing and Disclosing Private Information

Bergen County Residents and Business Owners Impacted by Hurricane IDA can apply for Federal Disaster Relief

Hackensack NJ,  Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco and the Board of County Commissioners urge residents and business owners impacted by Hurricane IDA to apply for Federal disaster relief. Over the weekend, the County of Bergen received a major disaster declaration from President Biden. The action releases Federal funding to those in Bergen County who sustained losses from September 1 to September 3 as a result of Hurricane Ida. Assistance can include grants for temporary housing and home repairs, low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses, and other programs to help individuals and business owners recover from the effects of the disaster.

Forger Arrested at Route 17 South Traffic Stop in Upper Saddle River

Upper Saddle River NJ, according to the Upper Saddle River Police a 30 year-old male from the Bronx, New York was stopped for driving with a suspended license on Route 17 South. The male was found in possession of a fraudulent NJ Driver’s License and counterfeit currency. The male was arrested and charged with two counts of Forgery. He was released on his own recognizance.

North Arlington Woman Arrested on Route 17 North in Upper Saddle River with 90 bags of Heroin

Upper Saddle River NJ, according to the Upper Saddle River Police , a 38 year-old female from North Arlington was stopped on Route 17 North for various motor vehicle offenses. The female was subsequently found in possession of approximately 90 bags of heroin. She was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of Hypodermic Needles, and numerous motor vehicle offenses. The female was subsequently released on her own recognizance.
