Trenton NJ, Governor Phil Murphy today declared that New Jersey will enter a State of Emergency effective at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 19 in anticipation of significant winter weather, causing hazardous weather conditions including heavy snow and dangerously low temperatures. Snow accumulations are expected to be as high as 8 to 12 inches in parts of the state, followed by extreme cold, with high temperatures in the teens and single digits and wind chills below zero. Executive Order No. 378 declares a State of Emergency across all 21 counties in New Jersey.
