HACKENSACK — A Bergen County Superior Court judge found probable cause Thursday to proceed with three harassment complaints against Ridgewood Councilman Jeffrey Voigt.
The complaints against Voigt were filed by three residents who say the councilman made their unlisted cellphone numbers, emails and home addresses known to the public via posts on his Facebook page.
The judge dismissed Voigt’s counter complaint against the same residents.

Wow. Didnt see that one coming. Emails were up for 1 hour and he faces 30 days in jail. This is certainly a warning to the rest of us not to oppose the powers that be…elected or unelected.
Outside of Lodi, we are the laughing stock of Bergen County. All parties involved are responsible for this spectacle.

The only person responsible for this spectacle is Jeff voight. People have the right to opra emails. It’s done everyday. He is embarrassing the village he was elected to serve. Shame on Voigt.

1:36 pm jeff voigt is an elected official who abused his position and broke the law. He tried to intimidate residents who he felt opposed him. You have it backwards.
Elected officials have to anticipate protests and need a thick skin. It’s unfortunate, but true. Personality plays a huge role in how well officials will do once elected. This one does not make the grade.
Jeff Voigt has been a Dais Bully since day one. This incident isn’t his first and won’t be his last. His behavior is repulsive. This time he messed with the wrong people and it’s biting him in the ass. Good for these residents, that stood up. Excellent that a Superior Judge also saw that Jeff is harrasing people.
Jeffrey Voight, Facebook posting? Really? Your plan to embarrass, expose and shame activist backfired. It’s going to take awhile before you can wipe all the smut off your face. SHAME ON YOU.
