Ridgewood NJ, the Doc Walk is set for March 25 . The Doc Walk was created to celebrating Dr. Sheeraz Iqbal who after a long battle with cancer Ridgewood resident Dr. Sheeraz Iqbal passed away .on Wednesday December 21st at 46 .Dr. Iqbal specialized in Pediatrics. Dr. Iqbal is and was affiliated with The Valley Hospital. “Doc” Iqbal, will be remembered as a legend of “The Dads’ Night Band” .
Please find important information for the Doc Walk on March 25:
· The team will arrive by 9 am and can be found under one of the pavilions. Stop by to pick up a water bottle, limited-edition Doc Walk wristband and raffle ticket.
· The event will start promptly at 10 am. We will walk the Saddle River Trail to the waterfall and back which is approximately 3.5 miles round trip.
· We are expecting a large turnout so plan accordingly for parking. For those who can, it might make sense to walk or bike to the park. Please also make sure to use the crosswalk or Saddle River Trail to enter the park if crossing Ridgewood Ave.
· We are still accepting donations the day of, but one is not required to participate in the walk. If you’d like to donate, see one of us under the pavilion.
· After the walk ends, stick around for the Dad’s Night Band and raffle to win some great prizes from various local establishments along with a few other surprises.
