The iconic Warner Theater in Ridgewood  sadly closed its doors after nearly a century of being a cherished downtown landmark.

The owners have generously offered to sell its vintage seats, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Ridgewood Historical Society. The seats date back to the 1980s and not the theater’s original opening, they still carry a piece of its storied past.

  5. If those seats could talk. Many a blowjob.

    1. Stuck on stoopid

  6. Looks like they sold five or six.

  7. Photo ops

  8. I could probably scrounge up a couple of historic toilet bowls if anyone’s interested.

  9. 1980 is now defined as vintage.

  10. It is really too bad that when the movie theater reached out to the village for some sort of financial assistance, none was given and they ended up closing, rumor has it. How can a mayor and deputy mayor for that matter, supposedly so tapped in to the CBD, not know the movie theater was stuggling financially? So many questions and no answers except the mayor pretended to not know anything and then wrote his bogus letter showing how much he cares for Ridgewood’s rich history, yada, yada. It is total donkey dust that he keeps spreading around in the hope that he can fool the masses. Never before should a mayor be recalled and hopefully since that isn’t happening, people won’t vote him in again.

    1. WTF would the taxpayers of Ridgewood bail out a local business???
So when one of the local Betty’s opens a shit shop on Ridgewood ave that tanks in 6 months like a dozen others b4 her WE have to bail them out??
Are you out of your frickin mind?

      1. The mayor acted like he knew nothing, not that he needed to loan them money like he has done for some of his other friends. Just don’t mislead people.

  11. That’s gross. Nuf’ said.

  12. Funny shit, I had some crazy dates there.

  13. It’s a Tom Sawyer play, get someone to pay to take out junk (paint your fence). No labor, no dumpster and do it in the name of charity. “It’s good to give back”

  14. Those 4 clowns seem pretty proud of themselves…
