Ridgewood NJ, in a stellar performance on Friday night, the Ridgewood Hockey team clinched their inaugural victory of the season with an impressive 2-0 shutout against the River Dell Golden Hawks.
The Maroons seized an early 1-0 lead courtesy of a goal from Marcus Braun, and their formidable defense skillfully maintained control. Despite the Golden Hawks’ efforts, Ridgewood goalie Jack Scali thwarted every attempt, and the Maroons’ offense consistently applied unrelenting pressure.
As the clock ticked down, River Dell, in a last-ditch effort to equalize, opted to pull their goalie. However, any hopes were dashed as AJ LoSauro scored an empty-net goal, sealing the 2-0 victory for Ridgewood.
