Oh yes, we told you this was going too happen. They are going too stick it up your ass so deep. In the end valley will win. Oh yes, they own the land. It will be all the projects of valley. Guess what people if the so called voters shut it down, in the end they will close up shop, and install a 25 foot old fence around the site And let it sit for a few years. It will look real nice. You fools. Yes you should of let them build whatever they needed. We say turn into a state institution. For one who flew of the Coo coo ‘s nest. See ya. Maybe we can get a tax break.
Tell us how you really feel ..Don’t hold back…
Oh yeah its easy for you to say when you don’t even live in town.
Excuse me but my family owns four dwellings in town .
Let’s put housing in there and then the town gets taxes. And that will keep the dwellings that we own at stabilize tax rate.
Not gonna get a lot of sympathy whining about taxes for your FOUR houses in Ridgewood.
She said her “family owns for houses in Ridgewood” and not that she owned four houses in Ridgewood. This could mean parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. She also says “we own.” I know lots of families who would fit this description.
Well isn’t that SPECIAL.
Where are all the “concerned citizens of Ridgewood” now?
All the NIMBY’s who fought the hospital tooth and nail thought the hospital expansion was going to ruin their property value. Well, now their destroyed.
You have absolutely no idea what’s coming your way. YOUR SCREWED.
not quire the whole story ….
Actually not whining I’m actually celebrating, because I have heard from my realtor that I have bids on all of them already over asking price. So I had an investment point we are doing very well. We bought other dwellings And other nearby towns that have cheaper taxis. So thank you for your concern.
Actually you are wrong.
Glen Rock taxes are higher.
Midland Park and Waldwick taxes are substantial
Fortunately we have some very large houses here, mostly on the west side that pay huge tax bills and subsidize those in smaller homes.
The municipal portion of our taxes are a bargain with professional firefighters, rear yard trash pickup and recycling.
The only waste here is the school portion.
Every town will see tax increases due to Cost of living adjustments for union employees, and thanks to the big houses here those of us in the smaller houses won’t feel the ‘pinch’ as much as Waldwick, Ramsey, Glen Rock, or Midland Park.
Yes, Yes, Yes… but the Taxis are cheaper.
Ridgewood’s firefighters are paid when municipalities as large as Paramus, which will now have two hospitals and many malls in town gets by just fine with volunteer fireman. I wouldn’t call RWFD professional by a long stretch, most of the fireman in the area, especially in my town, think Ridgewood fire is a joke. Just look at their track record.
does that mean you are going to volunteer ?
Establish a volunteer engine co and yes, then I would
We all get a decent reduction on our homeowners insurance because we have a full-time paid fire department. I would imagine they pay for themselves in terms of our cash flow.
What *record” are you referring to? Specifics please or it doesn’t count.
Does a Valley Hospital have a cooling center.
