Ridgewood NJ, Sunday April 14th, The Valley Hospital will close down hospital operations in Ridgewood.
All in-patients will be transferred to the new Valley Hospital in Paramus, beginning at 6:00 am on Sunday.
A large number of ambulances will be traveling along Linwood Avenue between Van Dien Avenue and the Paramus border, creating traffic congestion. Residents are advised to avoid the area around The Valley Hospital until after 4:00 pm.
Maple Field will be closed until 1:00 pm, and we ask residents using Veterans Field to park at Village Hall during the transition.
All emergency room visits will take place at the Paramus campus beginning at 6:00 am on Sunday.
Valley’s campus on North Van Dien Avenue in Ridgewood will transform from an inpatient facility to a thriving outpatient healthcare destination, with a variety of services designed to offer convenient care for our community.

Valley will continue using the former hospital property in Ridgewood for outpatient and select non-critical care inpatient services. They have no plans to sell any portion of the property. Repeat: No portion of the former hospital property will be available for sale.
You have no idea what you’re talking about. Audrey has a long memory and will exact her revenge for what the town and neighbors did to her. Everything is eventually moving to the new location and your right valley will not sell the property. Why? Because valley is going to build low income housing on the land.

I don’t know who you are, but somebody’s bullshitting you. If you think they’re going to operate that big facility with just outpatient for a long period of time think again. Maybe a year or two but down the road. It’s gone baby open up your eyes.
Barnert Hospital on Broadway in Paterson is alive and kicking for years and years now. Valley will not be vacating that footprint.
