Ridgewood NJ, the March 5 Village Council meeting was wild. The Schedler property was all over the agenda, including a carefully orchestrated presentation by the people who are being paid a bucket-load of our tax dollars to test the soil which was illegally dumped there thanks to Village “Engineer” Chris Rutishauser. Seems that the entire berm and maybe up to two feet of flat-land soil will have to be removed and go to wherever bad soil goes for processing. A number of residents spoke about the artificial turf being dangerous, and words like “shady” and “corrupt” were lobbed at the council. Concerns about the trees on the berm being saved for replanting and the fact that flat-land trees will die when soil is excavated deep down around their trunks and roots were raised. The council as well as Village Manager Keith Kazmark fired back, basically calling residents liars. The Village Manager Kazmark seems to have serious anger-management issues; he was red hot with indignation. Councilwomen “Squirrel” Winograd went on and on about how certain residents were lying. Council”man” Weitz repeated his oft-used phrase that the turf issue is simply a difference of opinion (not a difference of fact versus lies). This is better than anything on Netflix .

These people will lie to get what they want, no matter what. Doesn’t look like we are teaching the children any core values when behavior like this is displayed by our municipal government. It is really shocking to watch these meetings and the polarizing behavior of the village manager, mayor and council members whose double talk is becoming exhausting. Plus, what was all of the closed meeting nonsense. Seems to be the order of the day.
Just watched it. Wild. And then you have Scott Muller calling in to remind them that sports money paid to get them elected. A not so subtle reminder that they are owned and they damn well better get the Schedler park clear cut with Astro turf spread over the land and stadium lighting.

Did anyone notice that Winograd got up to check to see who the virtual callers were? I will bet half of you missed that but I did not. Speaks volumes and I am sure she had that all arranged in advance.
Totally true I wouldn’t trust any employees in that town. Not saying it’s everyone, but it’s a good majority, what a bunch of BackStabbers,storyteller’s , bullshitters, troublemakers, rumor starters, and not to mention they are extremely jealous. They know who they are rats bastards. You going over, huh? Yeahhhhhhhhh.

Just listened to Shiobhan’s comments – She is talking as “i did not allow this – I don’t allow that”.. Does she have an authority when she is not sitting on the dais?
How often does Siobhan have to say that she’s new here. She’s more than halfway through her term. Is she going to be “new here” as an excuse for all her crap for the whole four years?
