Ridgewood NJ, Ride-share company Uber is rolling out a new product in select places that will let customers book anything from dining to arts and culture, nightlife, and music and shows.

The new option in Uber’s explore tab will let customers look at nearby trending locations, such as events and dining, and allow users to book those via the Uber app.

New Jersey is one of 14 places across the nation included in a March 1 soft rollout of the new product, called Uber Explore, joining upstate New York and several major cities across the nation for what’s being billed as a lifestyle spin-off of the app.

Uber will suggest places based on past Uber rides and Uber Eats purchases, and users can book a ride to and from their event destination. Payments can likewise be done via an Uber user’s existing Uber Wallet & Payment profile. Uber Passengers can select the “ride there now” option when making a reservation, with a discount of 15% off the ride, up to $10.
