the staff of the Ridgewood blog
Ridgewood NJ, due to the ongoing very unhealthy air quality, on June 8, 2023, all garbage will be picked up curbside only. Please either put out your garbage (which must be in garbage containers) at the curb tonight or by 5 a.m. on June 8th. Garbage that is not at the curb will not be picked up until your next garbage pickup day.
It may be that curbside garbage pickup will be necessary for June 9, 2023 as well, but a final decision for June 9th will be made tomorrow afternoon.
Thank you for your understanding and for keeping our Village employees safe during this time that we are all experiencing very unhealthy air quality.
What a candy ass response. People who have to work go to work but if you can hustle a job working for the Village, it’s the comfy chair treatment.
It should always be at the curb, or end of the driveway. No one goes in my backyard. I bring it to the driveway. It’s safer.
Lazy people.
Hey if you like to look at garbage cans on the curb, move to waldwick…or back to NYC.
Another Ridgewood asshole comment. Good job there Biff.
Don’t panic! No need to panic!
What a bunch of snowflakes.
I guess this is considered manly after decades of the schools, the media and the government relentlessly feminizing men.
or it could just be that a number of our sanitation workers are college educated and just plain smart so they demand safe working conditions?
or it could be that men are women…
Curb it.
Just like Patterson.
Curb comments or Cans ?
It doesn’t make sense we put grass at the curb. We put recycling at the curb. We put all our cleanup debris at the curb. We put branches and brush at the curb. So, why not sanitation. The village should not allow any village employees behind village residence. Dwellings, it’s just smart and common sense, why you are avoiding lawsuits that the village experience in the past. Slip and falls, tripping employees getting hurt, slipping on ice and snow, Privacy issues, children playing in the backyard, and all the sudden we have a sanitation worker walking in the backyard, not cool at all. Yes, we have a great sanitation crew, that’s beside the point put the sanitation cans in front of the garage door, if you don’t want to put it on the curb or the end of the driveway come on. It’s just smart, thinking. Everyone else bring thumbs down it’s all about laziness. Some say it looks bad what are you putting everything else at the curb? What the hell is the difference, there is no difference take your head out of your ass.
It did not take long for someone to suggest that sanitation workers might be pedophiles. What a riot! Another asshole.
Huh ‘ your sick. No, it’s just common sense. It sounds like you’re the asshole. Do you know how many times you get a sanitation worker walk in someone’s backyard and the residents are startled. If they don’t know the worker, sometimes, and other workers covering for someone else what have you. How would you like the water department, the telephone company, public service, or any other utility just walking on your property in your backyard. That’s why, they ring the doorbell jack ass. That’s why today you seem many utility companies that come to the front door and ring the doorbell. They back up 10 feet so no one feels threatened. This is the world we live in today.
Hey, listen thumbs down why don’t you twist your hand around and jam your thumb up your ass, bring your garbage out of your backyard and put it in the driveway stop being lazy, so I’m complaining about bullshit stuff. People like you are a joke that’s why this country has become weak. You should be ashamed of yourself. How about going out and washing your garbage cans with some nice hot water and soap so the nice and clean and smell nice. You probably put all your smelly garbage in the canned with paper bags not in plastic tied up. Yeah we know you’re kind. Right Right make the Ken nice and heavy, right
