  1. Was the truck driver issued a summons? Was he/she disciplined in connection with the screw up?

  2. Most people in Ridgewood drive like selfish lunatics. Everyone needs to slow down and simply be more considerate of others.

    1. Absolutely. But the over-sized vehicles should yield where they are supposed to. Especially when there is a small car involved. These drivers have a special license for a reason. TO DRIVE SAFELY

  3. Where is the proof that the Sanitation ran the stop sign.

  5. Drivers in Ridgewood don’t even stop for pedestrians… doesn’t surprise me vehicles don’t stop for other vehicles

  6. All I know, is that people have become very poor drivers. Truck drivers, and busses even worse. They bully themselves by inserting where they should be yielding. I have no idea whose fault this was, but based on my experiences, the busses and Ridgewood Trucks need a little driver training.

  7. Ridgewood Trucks…get your ‘shi* together. Are they monitored by the police? ummm….thinkin’ not!

    1. How would police “monitor” trucks? What does “monitoring” trucks mean? Do police “monitor” other vehicles?

  8. Somethings going on, let me tell you something they’re monitoring more than the trucks.

    1. The best way to prevent these accidents is to monitor parking spaces and their time limits so there is no chance that someone might pull out in front of a larger vehicle. Makes sense, no?

  9. Not necessarily this case, but just wondering: how many accidents involve new adult drivers who moved to the burbs from a city, where they had to drive more slowly and be more aggressive?
