Rasmussen : Voters Rate Bill Clinton’s Behavior Toward Women Worse Than Trump’s

DONALD J

Thursday, October 13, 2016

the staff of the Ridgewood blog

Ridgewood NJ, Hillary Clinton jumped on the release last week of an 11-year-old video in which Donald Trump makes graphic sexual comments to say it shows her Republican rival’s demeaning attitude toward women. But Trump countered that Clinton was an enabler who allowed her husband, former President Bill Clinton, to sexually assault women for years. Voters tend to agree with Trump that Bill Clinton’s behavior was worse, but not surprisingly there’s a sharp partisan difference of opinion.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 43% of Likely U.S. Voters say allegations by women who claim to have been sexually assaulted by Bill Clinton are worse than Trump’s graphic sexual comments about women. Twenty-eight percent (28%) say Trump’s comments are worse, but nearly as many (26%) think the behavior of the two men is about the same.

Rasmussen also reports that the full results from Sunday night’s debate are in, and Donald Trump has come from behind to take the lead over Hillary Clinton.

The latest Rasmussen Reports White House Watch national telephone and online survey shows Trump with 43% support among Likely U.S. Voters to Clinton’s 41%. Yesterday, Clinton still held a four-point 43% to 39% lead over Trump, but  that was down from five points on Tuesday and her biggest lead ever of seven points on Monday.

Rasmussen polls also show most Republican voters still think top GOP leaders are hurting the party with their continuing criticism of Donald Trump and are only slightly more convinced that those leaders want Trump to be president.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 57% of Likely Republican Voters believe it is bad for their party that top Republicans continue to criticize Trump, but that’s down a bit from 62% in June. Twenty percent (20%) feel the continuing criticism is good for the party, up from 15%, while 16% now say it has no impact. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

But while 66% of Republicans felt top party leaders didn’t want Trump to be president four months ago, just 51% feel that way now. Still, only 27% believe party leaders want a Trump presidency, compared to 20% in the previous survey. Twenty-two percent (22%) are now unsure of what their party leaders want.

Among all likely voters, only 17% believe most top Republican leaders want Trump to be elected president. Sixty-two percent (62%) disagree, while 21% are not sure. These findings are little changed from June.

Thirty-four percent (34%) of all voters say it’s good for the GOP that its top leaders continue to criticize Trump, up from 26%, while 42% say it’s bad, down from 50%. Seventeen percent (17%) say such criticism has no impact on the party.

Here’s the new top 10 Port Authority salary list, shaped by Bridgegate scandal

GWB

NEW YORK — The list of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s top 10 highest paid executives has changed dramatically since last year, with several substitutions, raises among most holdovers, and the agency’s head lawyer knocking the executive director off the top spot.

The top 10 list looks at base salaries, a figure that can be deceptive at an agency where some Port Authority Police officers more than double their overall pay with overtime.

And even employees barred from overtime pay, including all 10 executives on the top-10 salary list, can manage to earn more when all payments are factored in.

Bill Brennan Bridgewgate

Fort Lee NJ, as the Ridgewood blog reported yesterday local activist Bill Brennan sued Christie in municipal court, alleging official misconduct related to the traffic jam.

Christie hired the New York Law Firm of Alston and Bird to defend him tomorrow. The waited until after the 6 O’Clock News aired to serve and file eight pages of evidence proving that they don’t understand NJ practice as it pertains to Probable Cause .

The judge ruled to advance the Bill Brennan’s complaint to the next level, rejecting the attempts by Christie’s lawyers to improperly interject themselves at this stage. On Facebook Brennan’s supporters claim,”
Today, the cause of justice was advanced a single notch…thanks to Bill Brennan!”

The criminal case complaint will now be given to the Bergen County prosecutor Gurbir Grewal to consider for indictment. Grewal a Democrat was appointed by Christie ,has some calling for him to recuse given his prior relationship as a Christie appointee. It is felt by Brennan supporters there is need a genuinely impartial special prosecutor to pick this up, indict, try and convict Governor Christie for official misconduct.

The Christie team has immediatly filed an apeal .

Garrett Releases New Ad Focusing On Asssult allegations against Gottheimer

Josh Gottheimer

October 13,2016

the staff of the Ridgewood blog

Ridgewood NJ,  Garrett for Congress released a new ad today featuring explosive truths about Josh Gottheimer.

“She worked hard to purchase her very own condo and never imagined what would happen next. It was here that condo board member Josh Gottheimer aggressively intimidated and assaulted her and left her fearful in her own home. She even sought a court order to bar Josh Gottheimer from contact. Scared and violated, the victim had to move to escape Gottheimer’s harassing environment. That’s the real Josh Gottheimer. And his values aren’t New Jersey values.”

Josh Gottheimer , like his mentor Bill Clinton claims to stand for women, but as is so often the case with Clinton cronies, it’s clear that his actions don’t match his words.

Perhaps the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree , 8 years of the Clinton White House which brought forward a rash of predatory accusations against the former president and in many of these cases, Hillary is believed to have been involved in the political operation that attempted to smear and destroy the reputations of Bill Clinton’s accusers. More than just a tryst with intern Monica Lewinsky and long term relationship with Gennifer Flowers, the list of Clinton accusers runs deep;

Paula Jones: A former Arkansas state employee, Jones sued Bill Clinton in 1994 for sexual harassment. Jones claims that in 1991 then Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton propositioned and exposed himself to her in a Little Rock hotel. Clinton eventually settled with Jones out of court for $850,000, but never admitted to any wrongdoing.

Juanita Broaddrick: Broaddrick, a former nursing home administrator, alleges that Bill Clinton, who was running for Arkansas governor at the time, raped her in an Arkansas hotel room in the spring of 1978.

Kathleen Willey: Willey was a White House volunteer aide who, in March of 1998, alleged on the TV news program 60 Minutes that Bill Clinton had sexually assaulted her during his first term as President.

Eileen Wellstone: Wellstone, an English woman, alleges that Clinton sexually assaulted her after she met him at a pub near Oxford University where Clinton was a student in 1969.

Carolyn Moffet: Moffet was a legal secretary in Little Rock in 1979, said she met Governor Clinton at a political fundraiser and was invited to his hotel room. Moffet alleges that she fled the hotel room after Clinton demanded she perform sex acts on him.

Elizabeth Ward Gracen: A Miss Arkansas who would go on to win the Miss America contest in 1982, Gracen alleges that she was forced by Clinton to have sex with him shortly after she won the Miss Arkansas competition.

Becky Brown: Becky Brown was Chelsea Clinton’s nanny. L.D. Brown, an Arkansas State Trooper and Becky’s husband, claims that Clinton attempted to seduce her in while the two were in governor’s mansion.

Helen Dowdy: Dowdy, the wife of one of Hillary’s cousins, alleges that in 1986 Bill Clinton groped her on the dance floor of a wedding.

Cristy Zercher: Zercher was a flight attendant aboard Clinton’s campaign jet from 1991-1992. Zercher told the Star magazine that Clinton groped her for over 40 minutes.

Bergen Sheriff Challenger Claims Incumbent Deceived Taxpayers

Manuel Alfonso

Manny Alfonso, the Republican challenger in the Bergen County sheriff race, on Wednesday accused incumbent Mike Saudino of what he termed “grant deception.” According to Alfonso, Saudino “will never make good on his  promise to reduce department spending by $200 million.”

In his statement, Alfonso went on to say that Democrats’ claims that they can save “up to $200 million in Bergen County by disbanding the county police force” are false. Alfonso also said that “the sheriff has increased spending year after year.”

Saudino’s campaign spokesperson Matt Bonasia issued the following response to Alfonso’s claims: “Manny Alfonso is entitled to have his own opinions but he is not entitled to create his own facts. These claims are outright fabrications from a desperate candidate who knows he is going to lose in November. If Manny Alfonso stuck with the facts he would be forced to admit that Sheriff Saudino has saved the taxpayers of Bergen County over $4 million through the realignment while improving public safety and that he has reduced overtime by 40% and saved $5 million since 2011 by cutting unnecessary spending.”

Readers suggest the Village of Ridgewood Re-Line many crosswalks for public safety

Bike Ridgewood Public Library theridgewoodblog.net

It’s clear Lots of catching up to do from the previous gang of neglect
Re-line the Dangerous Pedestrian Crossing in front of the Library before daylight savings dark afternoons and early winter Sunsets.

Could the Maple Ave. crosswalk between Kings and the library be painted in fluorescent or reflective paint? It’s very dangerous–anything that could be done to mitigate that would be a good idea.

Wait one minute! Why can’t you paint the crosswalks that need attention, which is basically all of them? Do pedestrian lives not matter?

Please paint more visible crosswalks at the corner of S. Irving and Ridgewood Ave. Also, the crosswalks across Ridgewood Ave in front of the High School – 2 of them. Also, the crosswalks at the corner of Ridgewood Ave and Maple. Pedestrian lives matter, too.

NJT seats lack inertial locks like on automobile seat belts

I haven’t been able to find any Federal or New Jersey legal prohibition. A while ago, New Jersey Transit bragged that their recent at that time order of single level cars would have inertial locks like on automobile seat belts to prevent the seat backs from moving during a crash. In my opinion as a railroader, the “prohibition” probably comes from the same person who bans railfan photography from public places.

I did not find anything either. The feds primary interest with respect to seats appears to be that they (1) don’t break loose from their fastenings, (2) the backs don’t unduly obstruct the emergency egress windows, and (3) they remain in a fixed position in a crash to better cushion the momemtum of a passenger. Inertial locks should be able to satisfy No. 3. The multilevel car seats have padding on the top rear and are high backed to better satisfy No. 3. My suspicion is that NJT desired cost savings from less maintenance, no need for crews to reverse seats and elimination of the issue with passengers flipping seats making collecting fares/keeping track of paid passengers more difficult and limiting capacity on peak trains since 4 longer-legged passengers cannot comfortably sit in pairs of seats facing each other.

Ridgewood NJ, Rules change; disposal of grass clippings – Grass clippings must be segregated from other yard waste and cannot be placed in the street with leaves.

Effective immediately per Ordinance #3550, approved by Village Council on 10/12/2016:

A.  Grass clippings cannot be placed in the same container as brush, leaves and other vegetative debris.

B.  Placement of yard waste in the street that is not containerized is only permitted during the placement dates designated by the annualLeaf Collection Schedule Notice, and at all times shall not be placed closer than 10 feet from any storm drain inlet, and may not contain any brush or grass clippings.

No details have been provided yet as to what impact, if any, these changes will bring to the Village’s current yard waste pick up schedule (i.e., once per week during curbside yard waste pick up season).

The changes were made because:

1.  An NJDEP advisory that grass clippings can no longer be deposited in the Village’s Lakeview Compost Facility.

2.  Compost that is free of grass clippings can be sold at a higher price.

Ridgewood NJ, For the third consecutive year, The Valley Hospital has earned the Women’s Choice Award®  as one of America’s Best Breast Centers, acknowledging its dedication to providing exceptional patient care and treatment. This evidence-based designation is the only award that identifies the country’s best breast centers based on robust criteria that considers female patient satisfaction and clinical excellence.

To earn this recognition, The Valley Hospital Breast Center, along with 450 other award winners throughout the nation, had to meet the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) standards from the American College of Surgeons and carry the Breast Imaging Center of Excellence (BICOE) seal from the American College of Radiology.  The Valley Hospital Breast Center also had to receive a rating in the top 75% for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) patient recommendation measures.

“We are proud to be recognized as one of the nation’s best hospitals for breast care,” said Audrey Meyers, President and CEO of The Valley Hospital and Valley Health System.  “It’s a testament to the priority our Breast Center physicians, nurses and staff place on making sure every patient’s needs are met when it comes to breast care.”

Longtime Clinton confidante discussed infiltrating the Catholic Church with progressive ideology to foment revolution

by Edmund Kozak | Updated 12 Oct 2016 at 2:03 PM

A newly leaked email shows Hillary Clinton’s current campaign chairman John Podesta and a Left-wing activist casually discussing fomenting “revolution” in the Catholic Church.

“There needs to be a Catholic Spring, in which Catholics themselves demand the end of a middle ages dictatorship and the beginning of a little democracy and respect for gender equality in the Catholic Church,” Sandy Newman, president and founder of the progressive nonprofit Voices for Progress, writes to Podesta in an email titled “opening for a Catholic Spring? just musing.”

Federal court rules the structure of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is unconstitutional

cfpb-consumer-financial-protection-bureau

“All government bureaucracies should be accountable to hardworking taxpayers”

October 11,2016
the staff of the Ridgewood blog

Ridgewood NJ,  Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) released the following statement on today’s federal court ruling that the structure of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is unconstitutional:

“This is a good day for democracy, economic freedom, due process and the Constitution.  The second highest court in the land has vindicated what House Republicans have said all along, that the CFPB’s structure is unconstitutional.

“By design the CFPB is arguably the most powerful and least accountable Washington bureaucracy in American history, and it shows.  The Bureau has infringed on the economic freedoms of consumers, limited their financial choices, increased their costs, and failed to hold managers accountable for widespread discrimination and abuse of its own employees.  This must change.  The CFPB has an important mission. Properly designed and led, it is capable of great good. But the Bureau’s bizarre and defective structure allows it to evade the time-tested checks and balances that are necessary to hold it or any other government bureaucracy accountable.  Our Constitution requires these checks and balances to protect our God-given liberties from government abuse.  It is astonishing that the Democrats who voted for the Dodd-Frank Act so casually disregarded their constitutional obligations to the American people.  It’s also astonishing that President Obama illegally bypassed the Senate by appointing Richard Cordray to serve as the Bureau’s Director. It is time to restore the rule of law and Constitutional governance to this nation. While I welcome today’s decision, it’s absurd that a judicial opinion was necessary.

“The Financial CHOICE Act, approved by our committee last month, solves the constitutional defect identified by the court today.  The Financial CHOICE Act replaces the current unaccountable single director with a bipartisan, five-member commission – which is how virtually every independent regulatory agency, including those responsible for consumer and investor protection, currently operates.

“Republican efforts in the Financial CHOICE Act to reform the Bureau are and have always been grounded in the fundamental belief that all government bureaucracies should be accountable to hardworking taxpayers, especially those bureaucracies like the CFPB that can spend hundreds of millions of dollars each year with no oversight or control from Congress or the executive branch; employ an army federal employees; and have a direct impact on the personal finances of virtually every American citizen.”

Community Activist Bill Brennan has filed a lawsuit in Bergen County court against Governor Christie based upon Wildstein’s “Bridgegate ” testimony

Bill Brennan Bridgewgate

October 12,2016
the staff of the Ridgewood blog

Ridgewood NJ, the staff of the Ridgewood blog is made up of many long-time commuters , so we have been ,to say the least,  a bit skeptical this entire “Bridgegate ” or “Bridgeapolooza” episode. The reality is that the GWB has huge traffic jams averaging over 1-hour delays during rush hour every day.

The Port Authority is hardly and paragon of virtue it’s often been the dumping ground for on the lamb public employees from New York and New Jersey and New York and New Jersey can hardly claim the mantle of puritanicalism  both states seem more often than not to be mired in corruption.

In recent “Bridgegate” not only did former Port Authority Official, David Wildstein, told Bill Baroni’s attorney, Michael Baldassare, that Governor Christie’s staff asked him to produce a list of Port Authority employees so that Democrats could be purged, just weeks after starting his $150,000-a-year job at the Port Authority in 2010.

Wildstien also claimed under oath he told Governor Christie about the lane closing. The prosecution’s star witness claimed Gov. Chris Christie was told of the traffic jams at the George Washington Bridge in the midst of the gridlock in Fort Lee in September 2013, and that Christie laughed when he heard about it.

Community Activist Bill Brennan found a way to file a lawsuit in Bergen County court against Governor Christie based upon Wildstein’s testimony.

Brennan says ,”There’s a statute in New Jersey, the Official Misconduct statute, which says that a public servant is guilty of official misconduct for the purpose to deprive another of a benefit or obtain a benefit for himself. If he refrains from taking an action that’s clearly inherent in the nature of his office. Clearly inherent in the nature in the office of the Governor is opening those lanes when you’ve been told they’re closed.

Tomorrow morning the Governor of NJ faces charges for something we all know he did. I fear life in a country where the government harms law-abiding citizens in fits of pettiness and revenge. It scares me to know that people are being coerced by officials who brag that they can destroy the lives of anyone who refuses their demands. It terrifies me that this is all out in the open and I might be alone in an open court room standing up against tyranny. “

In a Media Coordinated Push Bergen Democrats Attack Garret over Oath Keepers, but Fail to Distance themselves from Financial ties to Middle East Terror Supporting Nations

“This article is desperate and ridiculous at best. Rather than attack Scott Garrett for attending a meet and great with constituents at a diner in River Edge why won’t my democratic colleagues condemn and demand the return of tens of millions of dollars received by the Clinton Foundation from countries which promote awful human rights violations against women and gay people such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar and United Arab Emirates.”

Weinberg Calls on AG to Investigate Garrett’s Ties to Domestic Terror Organization

By Max Pizarro • 10/11/16 1:36pm

Democrats smell blood in the 5th Congressional district, where GOP discombobulation has incumbent U.S. Rep. Scott Garrett (R-Wantage) blowing the whistle on Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and seeking to harden his own brand.

That’s a troublesome brand in its own right, according to Senate Majority leader Loretta Weinberg (D-Bergen), who today demanded that Governor Chris Christie denounce Garrett for his ties to the domestic terror organization, the Oath Keepers.

Weinberg, moreover, also called on New Jersey Attorney General Christopher Porrino to conduct an investigation into whether Garrett violated New Jersey law.

All-out effort to destroy Trump PROVES he’s not part of the establishment… NOT an insider… ‘Trump’ movement has grown way beyond one man’s actions or words

Hillary Clinton

Sunday, October 09, 2016
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger

(NaturalNews) There’s no longer any question whatsoever about whether Trump is an insider or outsider. The all-out attack on Trump by the leftist media, democrats and the republican establishment now confirm that the political elite are terrified of Donald Trump and will do anything to stop him.

As proof, just consider the “hot mic” lewd talking tape that was rolled out last Friday. This recording of Trump speaking in a lewd, insensitive way about his sexual exploits with women was surreptitiously recorded over a decade ago. It’s now being seized upon by the same leftist media that whitewashes the entire history of Bill Clinton’s sexual assaults against women as well asHillary’s long history of extreme profanity and cursing at everyone around her.

Over the last two days, many members of the Republican establishment have seized upon the tape to denounce Trump yet again, ridiculously proclaiming they hold the moral high ground in America only because they’ve never yet been caught hiring prostitutes or sodomizing little boys. (Yeah, do you really think these power-hungry Washington insiders are CLEAN LIVING people? Get a grip…)

NFL Ratings Set To Drop Again In Week 5 As NFL Downplays The Problem

Boycott NFL #boycottNFL

October 10, 2016 4:37 PM

By Matt Dolloff, CBS Boston

BOSTON (CBS) — The NFL has a ratings problem. The causes are many, and the leading cause is certainly up for debate. But that isn’t stopping the NFL from denying that the problem has some controversial undercurrents – or that the problem exists in the first place.

Sunday Night Football between the Green Bay Packers and New York Giants drew a 10.2 overnight rating as it mostly went up against the second presidential debate, according to Sports Media Watch. It’s a steep drop from 13.1 in Week 5 of the 2015 season and the lowest overnight rating since Week 8 of the 2013 season.

The presidential debate, and the 2016 election season, are no doubt cutting into TV ratings for everyone, not just the NFL. But for an 11 percent overall drop through the first four weeks of 2016 that is likely to deepen after Week 5? Seems more like a convenient excuse.
