Paramus, NJ – Saturday, September 27th, turned into a massive traffic headache for thousands of drivers on Route 4 (State Highway 4). Both the eastbound and westbound lanes near the heavily congested Bergen Town Center were crippled for hours in the afternoon and early evening due to a dangerous low-hanging communications cable.

Police confirmed that a 12-year-old pre-teen was hospitalized with a head injury after his electric scooter collided with the rear of a parked 2023 Subaru on Warren Road around 10:03 p.m. on September 17. The child was transported to Hackensack Medical Center for treatment.
