On February 8, 2024, after a two-week trial before the Honorable James X. Sattely, P.J.Cr., in Bergen County Superior Court, RANDY GALLMAN was convicted of attempted kidnapping, attempted sexual assault, criminal sexual contact, simple assault, and harassment. Sentencing is scheduled for May 3, 2024.

Two Juveniles Arrested After Ramming Police Vehicles at George Washington Bridge

Platkin, the Division of Criminal Justice (DCJ), and the New Jersey State Police (NJSP) today announced an investigation into two individuals who, based on the investigation to date, eluded police while driving a vehicle that rammed multiple police and commuter vehicles at the entrance to the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee, New Jersey.  The two individuals in the vehicle were taken into custody.

Port Authority of New York and New Jersey: Traffic at Bridges and Tunnels at Pre-Pandemic Levels

Fort Lee NJ, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey today announced that its three major airports continued their record-setting pace through the first seven months of the year, surpassing 2019 numbers. The agency also reported that the seaport was the nation’s busiest for the month of July, handling its highest total of TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) since October 2022. The agency also released monthly and year-to-date facility volumes at the agency’s airports, bridges and tunnels, PATH commuter rail and seaport.
