Oradell Developer Puts Plans on Hold for Downtown Apartments

Oradell NJ,  according to the Building owner Tom Didio, a longtime resident of the borough and husband of Mayor Dianne Didio, plans to build apartments in Oradells downtown are being put on hold in light of the discovery that a century-old building is just too old to allow for the improvements the owner envisioned. The project would have been built at 387-393 Kinderkamack Road, the 1927 Hinck building in the heart of the downtown that once housed Panico Salon and Spa.

Oradell Says NO to Three-story Apartment Complex Proposed for Former Car Dealership Site

Closter Volunteer Ambulance & Rescue Corps Returning from A Hospital Run Render Aid to a pedestrian struck by a car in Oradell

Oradell NJ, Neighbors do help neighbors! on December 30th 2021 , Closter Volunteer Ambulance & Rescue Corps 727 was headed home after transporting a patient to a nearby hospital. At the intersection of Oradell Avenue and Prospect in Oradell, a pedestrian had just been struck by a car. The crew stopped and began to render aid. Moments later, ALS 301 from Holy Name arrived and assumed patient care. No other ambulances were in the area, so Closter Volunteer Ambulance & Rescue Corps 727 was asked to transport the patient to the Valley Hospital. Many thanks to Oradell Police and ALS 301.

Oradell NJ, Bergen County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit gave a special plaque of gratitude in the name of Dr. Anthony Palminteri, who co-founded the Oradell Animal Hospital in 1961.
Sheriff Anthony Cureton presented the plaque in honor of Dr. Palminteri to his wife, Gail.

Two Sites in Oradell Targeted for High Density Housing

Oradell NJ,  Two properties in the borough of Oradell  are being eyed for new housing, one that would bring age-restricted housing to Kinderkamack Road and another that would give a face-lift to a downtown building along with new apartments. But only in New Jersey could the husband of the mayor buy a property and then have it immediately re-zoned for high density housing and no one blinks an eye.

The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti.

Oradell NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of SUZETTE R. HART (DOB: 01/13/1966; married; teacher) of 570 Fletcher Avenue, Oradell, NJ on the charge of Theft By Deception. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti, the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office under the direction of Sheriff Anthony Cureton, and the Oradell Police Department under the direction of Chief William Wicker.
