The driver, Joseph Ford, 18, of New York City, was later arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), along with multiple other charges.

Diana Golonek, the first and only woman in the borough of Saddle River’s police department, has filed a six-count lawsuit against the department and the borough, alleging persistent bullying, ridicule, and harassment throughout her 11-year tenure. The 47-page complaint, filed in Superior Court on September 30th, outlines a series of grievances, including gender discrimination, disability discrimination, retaliation, and violations of both the New Jersey Conscientious Employee Protection Act and the New Jersey Civil Rights Act.
