Ridgewood Knights Council #1736 Deliver Toys for Tots

Ridgewood-NJ-December 13, 2025: Members from the Ridgewood Knights of Columbus Council #1736 met on Saturday morning, December 13, at the Hawthorne train station to deliver over 100 toys to the U.S. Marines as part of the Toys for Tots program. The Knights waited anxiously and patiently on the frigid morning for Operation Toy Train to pull up at 10 a.m., led by Santa. “This is one of the major charitable events that we conduct in the fraternal year”, said John Walicki, Grand Knight of the Ridgewood council.  “We express our thanks to Mike Puzino, who organized the toy collection”, said Walicki.

At the December 3 Village Council meeting, a new feature was implemented.  Now when someone from the public speaks during public comments, a loud BELL rings after 2 minutes and at the end of alloted 3 minutes a loud buzzer then goes off.
