Inn and Restaurant Proposed for Garber Square in Ridgewood

Ridgewood NJ, the Foodie Blog  boozyburbs is reporting a new restaurant and inn proposed for Garber Square in Ridgewood. According to boozyburbs the proposed inn and restaurant would be housed at 2-4 Garber Square, known as the Corsa Building, with the first floor housing a restaurant that includes a liquor license. The second floor will be home to a six room inn offering overnight accommodations .

Ridgewood NJ, are the supporters of Healthbarn concerned if the lease doesn’t get renewed Stacey Antine will no longer do good for Ridgewood through her Foundation?  That is not what the lease is about it is about Healthbarn USA a private for profit business.   Healthbarn foundation is headquartered in Lyndhust.  So why does every thing written about Healthbarn talk mainly about the foundation not about her classes going on in the park?

What You Should Know About the EKRA Law

Eliminating Kickbacks in the Recovery Act is more commonly known as EKRA. It is included in the Substance Use-Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities Act, more commonly in the sense of the SUPPORT Act. Both were passed on October 24th, 2018. EKRA is similar to the Anti-Kickback Statute and the Physician Self-Referral Law, also known as Stark’s Law, which preceded it, in the sense these laws prohibit monetary gain for patient referrals. Yet, there are some important distinctions as well.

NJ Senior Freeze Property Tax Reimbursement Deadline February 1st

Ridgewood NJ,  according to state assemblymen Kevin J. Rooney , the deadline to apply for the Senior Freeze Property Tax Reimbursement is extended again eligible applicants now have until February 1st to apply for relief. State Treasurer Elizabeth Maher Muoio announced today that New Jersey property owners who are eligible for the Senior Freeze property tax reimbursement program will have an additional month to apply for the relief program, with the application deadline now being extended until February 1, 2021.
