RIDGEWOOD — A 22-year-old man was arrested on Monday after punching a hole in a wall inside the village’s police department, authorities said.

Matthew Boucher-Kerns, of Ridgewood, walked into the police station inside Village Hall just before 1 p.m. to complaint about a summons he had received earlier that day.

According to police, Boucher-Kerns “became very angry” inside the police station, and as he walked out, allegedly punched a wall next to an elevator.
