Ramsey NJ, Today, Frank Pallotta, Republican candidate for New Jersey’s Fifth Congressional District, issued the following statement:

“All Americans can agree that the shocking death of George Floyd at the hands of a police officer was sickening, and unacceptable. When I saw the video, I was horrified that one human being could so mercilessly treat another in that manner – particularly someone in a position of trust and power. Our treasured First Amendment protects the rights of all Americans to lift their voices in prayer and protest for change,” said Pallotta.

Republican candidate for New Jersey’s Fifth Congressional District : Democrat aid formula hurt Sussex & Warren.

Republican Candidate for Congress Frank Pallotta

the staff of the Ridgewood blog

Mahwah NJ,  Frank Pallotta, Republican candidate for New Jersey’s Fifth Congressional District, made the following statement in response to United States Senators Robert Menendez and Cory Booker’s announcement last week that local governments in Sussex and Warren Counties would not receive any money from the First Wave of Federal Funding from the COVID-19 Emergency Stimulus Package.  Under the Obama-era, pre-pandemic formula adopted by the Democrats, Congress failed to allocate any of the $82 million in grants to assist communities in New Jersey to Sussex and Warren Counties.
“It is unacceptable that any of our hard-hit communities would be left out under the stimulus bill. New Jersey sends more than its fair share to the federal government only to be given the short shrift during one of the most challenging times in our history. Josh Gottheimer was silent when Nancy Pelosi loaded the bill with far-left Green New Deal proposals and then came home empty-handed. We need a Congressman that will make all of District 5 a priority in a National emergency, instead of treating certain parts of the district as if it were an afterthought.”

AMERICA NEEDS TO UPGRADE ITS ECONOMIC IQ

Public policy in New Jersey and elsewhere is being influenced by poorly informed politicians

by Frank Pallotta

Frank Pallotta, Mahwah resident, is a former Wall Street executive and owner of a specialty finance company Steel Curtain Capital LLC. He also works with American Corporate Partners (ACP), a nonprofit group that helps military veterans transfer back into the workforce.

What passes for basic economic knowledge in American politics today is shocking. There is an alarming and increasing rate of economic ignorance (and deceit) among elected officials, activists and many in the media and it is negatively impacting public policy.

Frank Pallotta to Run for Mayor of Mahwah in Recall Election

unnamed1

My name is Frank Pallotta and I have been a Mahwah resident for nearly 30 years. My wife Patty, a life-long Mahwah resident, and I have been married for 27 years and have two adult sons. We built our home, raised our family and made many friends here over the years who have become part of our extended Mahwah family. Mahwah is our town and it is the only town we have ever called home.
It is time for Mahwah to be represented by someone with one agenda and one vision, singularly focused on improving our town and the lives of all its residents.
