Fair Lawn NJ, recently we have had several stolen vehicles within our borough. Fair Lawn is not going downhill or getting “bad” This happens every so often, but it’s a reminder that crime happens everywhere. Help us prevent auto thefts. We know life is busy with kids, bringing in groceries etc…but remember to lock your vehicle and take your key fob with you!

Glen Rock NJ, according to the Glen Rock Police a total of 439 high end vehicles were stolen in Bergen County in 2021. Vehicle owners in the region are experiencing an uptick in car thefts . The common denominator in there thefts were that the cars were unlocked !

Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Police report that on June 11th an Orchard Place resident reported a burglary and theft from an unlocked motor vehicle during the overnight hours. The victim reported an unknown actor entered the vehicle, rifled through it and removed personal property from within.

What is so hard to understand about the above placard? It is composed of 4 letter words LOCK, TAKE KEYS. If we actually have residents that can’t understand such simple terms, Ridgewood’s education is in even worse trouble than we thought.
