Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, on or about May 13th and for the next two to three weeks roadwork will have roads closed and detours at various times involving the following Borough streets:
Mill Rd, Arrow Lane, Cleverdon Rd, Brandywine Rd, Van Dyke Rd, Valley Forge Way & Washington Ave.

Update on Glenwood Road Closing

Ridgewood NJ, as previously reported on or about May 15, 2021, the Glenwood Road Hill will be closed while the NJ Department of Transportation and NJ Transit improve the railroad crossing at the Ho-Ho-Kus train station. This closure will last for approximately 30 days. When Glenwood Road reopens, it will be a one-way street, down the hill.

NJ Transit Breaks Ground on New $31.5 Million Lyndhurst Train Station

Lyndhurst NJ, Governor Phil Murphy, New Jersey Department of Transportation Commissioner and NJ TRANSIT Board Chair Diane Gutierrez-Scaccetti, NJ TRANSIT President & CEO Kevin S. Corbett, and state and local officials today celebrated the groundbreaking for construction of a new, ADA-accessible train station in Lyndhurst.  The new facility, thanks to $30.9 Million provided by the state’s partners at the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), replaces a station more than a century old and will be located at the intersection of Delafield Avenue and Court avenues, a more convenient location closer to the commuter parking lot.

Elizabeth NJ, during the early morning hours of 3/19/21, NJTPD officers responded to a report of a conductor assaulted at North Elizabeth Station. The officers apprehended a subject who allegedly struck a conductor in the face with a closed fist. This subject now faces multiple charges including Aggravated Assault, Hindering, and Theft of Service.⁣⁣

Beginning April 5th customers can join the program through the NJ TRANSIT mobile app and begin earning points, which can be redeemed for deals at participating local shops, restaurants and attractions as well as at participating national chains.
