Paramus NJ, A flatbed tractor trailer carrying building materials rolled over on Route 4 Westbound after exiting the ramp from Route 17 Southbound on Thursday morning, 12/22. The truck driver was uninjured in the mishap. Local lanes of Route 4 Westbound were closed between Route 17 Southbound and the Garden State Parkway until the scene was cleared of the wrecked vehicle and debris. Response by Paramus PD, Paramus EMS, Bergen County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division, NJ State Police, and NJDOT.

Paramus Police :The ramp from route 17 south to route 4 west is closed. Local lanes of Route 4 westbound will be closed, at route 17.Local lanes of Route 4 westbound will be closed until further 3:30 pm.

Paramus NJ, No injuries were reported in a three (3) vehicle crash at the intersection of Linwood Avenue and Pascack Road in Paramus that occurred late Friday afternoon, 03/11. However, Pascack Road was closed for over one (1) hour in both directions between Linwood Avenue and Ridgewood Road, Washington Township due to a unsafe utility pole that was damaged during the crash. Paramus PD officers responded to the scene along with Washington Township PD and FD units. Two (2) vehicles involved in the crash were heavily damaged and towed from the scene by separate flatbed tow trucks

Paramus NJ, A high speed overnight police pursuit that began in Paramus ended when the fleeing driver crashed into a concrete divider on Route 17 northbound in Waldwick. The crash occurred just after 1 AM on Thursday, 02/04 near the on ramp to Route 17 northbound from East Prospect Street, Waldwick. Police officers from Waldwick, HoHoKus, and Ridgewood assisted Paramus officers at the scene.

At least one (1) individual was taken into custody. No police officers were injured in the chase. However, an ambulance was dispatched to the scene and it transported a crash victim, believed to have been the crashed vehicle’s driver, to the Bergen Regional Medical Center. A police officer was observed riding in the back of the ambulance with the victim. A flatbed tow truck removed the wrecked car from the roadway. Two (2) lanes of Route 17 northbound were shut while the investigation and debris clean up took place.
