Village Hall Closed in Observance of Christmas

Ridgewood NJ, President-elect Donald Trump has taken his battle against “Fake News” to court, filing a lawsuit against the Des Moines Register and pollster J. Ann Selzer on Monday. The lawsuit alleges the publication of a misleading poll just before Election Day, which showed Vice President Kamala Harris leading Trump in Iowa by 3 percentage points. Trump went on to win Iowa by a significant margin of 14 percentage points, securing a second term in the White House.

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood parking permits are being sold, beginning December 17th, at the Reception Desk in the lobby of Village Hall, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. You must bring your driver’s license and vehicle registration(s) for the vehicle(s) you would like to register for a parking permit.

Ridgewood NJ, Governor Phil Murphy  announced that Kris Kolluri will serve as the next President and CEO of NJ TRANSIT following the resignation of Kevin Corbett, who will continue to serve in the position until January 15th, 2025. The NJ TRANSIT Board of Directors unanimously voted to confirm the Governor’s nomination during Wednesday’s Board meeting.

Parking Kiosks in Ridgewood May be Replaced Due to User Complaints

Any Day Now: Demolition of Former Town Garage Structure in Ridgewood

Ridgewood NJ, Village Manager Keith Kazmark recently announced that demolition of the former Town Garage structure will take place within the next 2 to 3 weeks. The contractor involved in the project is now applying for demolition permits, which will be expedited by the Village’s Building Department. Portions of the Walnut Street municipal parking lot will be unavailable once demolition begins. More to follow from the Village Manager.
