Chief 1130 arrived on scene to find a 2 story garage, occupied as a residence with smoke pushing from the open garage door at which time he requested the 2nd alarm be dispatched. Asst. Chief 1140 arrived on scene and assumed operations as Engine 1131 (OIC 1170) arrived, taking the driveway and preparing for fire attack. Crews located a minor fire behind the wall, which was quickly extinguished. Once the fire was out, the incoming 2nd alarm was canceled, and our assignment was held with Engine 1131 and Ladder 1141.
