Trenton NJ, Senator Steve Oroho blamed faulty forecasting by the Murphy Administration for an enormous business payroll tax increase set to take effect on October 30 to put money into the Unemployment Insurance Fund, which the  Administration projected to be almost a billion dollars in the red by the end of June of this year.

Paramus NJ, Governor Phil Murphy today announced a leadership transition at the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMAVA). Effective immediately, current DMAVA Deputy Adjutant General, Colonel Dr. Lisa J. Hou, D.O., will become Interim Adjutant General and Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, replacing Major General Jemal J. Beale.

New legislation to modernize the construction permitting and inspection process advances

Trenton NJ, Senator Steve Oroho’s legislation that would modernize the construction permitting and inspection process was advanced today by the Senate Community and Urban Affairs Committee.

Oroho’s bipartisan bill, A-1145/S-1739, establishes the Electronic Permit Processing Review System, a digital solution that would be available to accept requests and provide details around the clock.
