Ridgewood  NJ, an older model, white colored Nissan Sentra with Vermont license plates, seen fleeing the scene of an alleged shoplifting in Mahwah, was stopped by Mahwah Police officers on Route 17 southbound in Ridgewood within 15 minutes of the Saturday morning, 02/17, incident.

Fair Lawn NJ, on December at 10:40 am , Fair Lawn Police Officer Peter Federico, Officer Luis Vasquez &  Officer Anthony Burgos responded to the area of Walgreens, 17-77 River Road, on a report of a shoplifting that had occurred. The actor, Brandon Flores, age 22 of Paterson, was captured on Route 20 in Paterson with $70.74 in unpaid items.

Glen Rock NJ, The Glen Rock Police Department is investigating two large shoplifting’s that occurred on July 10 and July 15, 2021 at our Bottle King liquor store. We are attempting to identify the attached black male suspect who fled the area in a 2019 gray Nissan Sentra. He was wearing a black Lacoste hat, glasses, chain, black t-shirt, black shorts and black/white sneakers and appears to have tattoos on both of his arms. The male was accompanied by a heavyset black female. We believe the suspect hails from the Newburgh, NY area. Trenton NJ, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced the arrests of more than 100 foreign nationals in New Jersey, many of them with criminal records, in a nearly week-long sweep of the state.

From Jan. 27 to Feb. 1, ICE arrested 115 people from 23 countries.

Of those arrested, 84% had prior criminal convictions and/or pending criminal charges, and three of them were previously deported, according to ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations in a written statement.

Shoplifter Flees With $250 Worth of Merchandise in Ridgewood

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Police Patrol units responded to Whole Foods at 44 Godwin Avenue on a report of a shoplifting on July 12th. Upon arrival the manager reported the female shoplifter fled the store without making payment for approximately $250.00 in merchandise. The manager provided a description of the actor and a vehicle description. The manager reported he will respond at a later date to sign a criminal complaint and provide security video evidence.

Ridgewood Police take four into Custody

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Police officers took four (4) individuals into custody during a motor vehicle traffic stop made in connection with an alleged attempted shoplifting at the Stop & Shop, 175 Franklin Avenue, Ridgewood on Wednesday afternoon, 12/19. The traffic stop was affected by Glen Rock PD officers at the intersection of Glen Avenue and South Maple Avenue in Glen Rock. Police at the scene did not reveal the exact nature of criminal charges, if any, pending, or to be made, against the four (4) adults who were being detained.
