Graydon Pool Closed Friday July 9

Due to dangerously high water levels that have left the docks under water and caused our shallow areas to become deeper than normal and unsafe for our patrons, we will be closing the Graydon Pool facility today, Friday, July 9.  All classes and instruction will also be cancelled.

Movies Are Back in Ridgewood

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood’s Bow Tie Warner Theater will open today .Thursday June 10th.  Itf its just to hot out there for you a movie may be just the ticket . The theater will be showing brand-new Hollywood movies starting with “In The Heights”, “Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway”, and “A Quiet Place Part II” this Thursday.

LONG BRANCH NJ, NJ TRANSIT is restoring nearly 60 trains just in time for the summer season and increased ridership for customers returning to the office due to the continued economic reopening. New Jersey Department of Transportation Commissioner and NJ TRANSIT Board Chair Diane Gutierrez-Scaccetti was joined at Long Branch station by Congressman Frank Pallone, state Senator Vin Gopal, NJ TRANSIT President & CEO Kevin S. The expression ’tilting at windmills’ derives from Cervantes’ Don Quixote – first published in 1604, under the title The Ingenious Knight of La Mancha. The novel recounts the exploits of would-be knight ‘Don Quixote’ and his loyal servant Sancho Panza who propose to fight injustice through chivalry. Shortage of Qualified Truckers Could Lead to Gasoline Shortages this Summer

Ridgewood NJ, first it was toilet paper , now its gasoline. Concerns grow about shortage of gasoline at filling stations this summer. The shortage would  have nothing to do with gasoline supply , but more a case of a shortage of qualified truck drivers to get the gas from the refineries to the stations.

Ridgewood Parks & Recreation Day Camp will run in 2021

Ridgewood NJ, according to Councilwoman Bernadette Walsh, who is the Village Council liaison to the Parks & Rec Conservation Board and the Field Committee, the Parks & Recreation Department is happy to announce that Summer Day Camp will return this year.  While there may still be some changes to the camp, we can confirm that it will run from Tuesday, June 29-Friday, August 6 from 9 am-1:30 pm with the exception of days when it rains and camp is cancelled.  Campers will be placed in groups with a 20:2 ratio or less.  Summer Camp will still consist of organized games, arts & crafts, and swim time at Graydon Pool.
