The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 42% of American Adults say the higher price of food has caused them to change their plans for Thanksgiving dinner, but a majority (51%) say it hasn’t changed their plans. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

That is, according to a huge poll of 7,233 Americans by Gunther VW Coconut Creek, a Florida-based car dealership, which revealed that millions of people will be scaling down their Thanksgiving plans this year due to the rise in inflation, and gas prices in particular.

The feast was celebrated by the Pilgrims, the breakaway Puritan sect that founded Plymouth Plantation in Massachusetts in 1620, and it was joined by the neighboring Native American tribe, the Wampanoags.

Paramus NJ, Stew Leonard’s held their 3rd Annual Turkey Brigade. Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco joined Stew and his incredible team, with the help of Paramus Mayor Richard LaBarbiera and the Paramus Police Department, in the distribution of over 350 turkeys to various organizations throughout Bergen County. The goal of the event is to provide Thanksgiving meals to families in need. Stew’s generosity is truly commendable and the County of Bergen is grateful for his commitment to our community.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 79% of American Adults say they are planning on getting together with family or friends this Thanksgiving.
