Ridgewood NJ, November 8th is Election Day, polls are open 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. – General Election for various Federal, State, County, and local offices, including Village Council.
Hackenbsack NJ, State Senator Joe Cryan, a Democrat from Union County, has introduced legislation calling for an independent review and investigation of the Attorney General’s Office of Public Integrity and Accountability for possible misconduct. Cryan stated “The office has acted unethically on a consistent basis and needs to be reviewed,” said Cryan. The law would also include possible disciplinary actions.
Ridgewood NJ, the image may be funny, but the message is not. In an unfortunate political post a Bergen County Commissioner falsely claims county roads in Ridgewood are crumbling due to the Village failing to prioritize and coordinate. Not true.
This is for my Ridgewood friends. We vote for 2 council people on Tuesday, November 8th.
This election season reminds me of the election of 2012. People were blissfully unaware of what was to come. Residents were fooled by smooth talking candidates with lots of promises, and a hidden agenda. Ridgewood paid the price with years of fighting the overdevelopment applications that ensued.
Let’s prevent a repeat of that by re-electing Susan Knudsen, and electing James Van Goor.
Ridgewood NJ, the Recession has been averted. The Houston Astros beat the Philadelphia Phillies to win the World Series Saturday night, pushing the most reliable recession indicator we have (a Philly-based team won in ’29, ’30, ’80, and ’08) off for at least a year.

The 6th seeded West Orange Mountaineers pulled off an upset over the 2nd seeded Ridgewood Maroons in a nail biter with the game decided in overtime by the visiting Mountaineers defeating the Maroons 34-31.
