Englewood NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 21-year-old MELVIN ZACARIAS-ESQUIVEL of Englewood, NJ on charges of aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Englewood Police Department under the direction of Chief Thomas Greeley.

Ridgewood NJ, one day after an accident sent a car careering into George Washington Middle Schiool , Ridgewood Police issued one (1) summons in connection with a Friday morning, 04/26, two (2) vehicle, head on crash that took place in front of 596 Grove Street, Ridgewood. The driver of a white colored, 4-door Mercedes sedan was evaluated on scene by Ridgewood Fire Department EMTs, but declined ambulance transportation to a hospital. No injuries were reported by the driver of vehicle #2. A flatbed tow truck removed both damaged passenger cars from the scene.
