Paramus NJ, David’s Bridal, LLC (“the Company”), the nation’s leading bridal and special occasion authority, today announced that the Company and certain of its subsidiaries filed voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code (“Chapter 11”) in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey (the “Court”). The Company expects to file a recognition proceeding in Canada and a subsidiary of David’s Bridal expects to commence an administration proceeding for its business in the United Kingdom.

Ridgewood NJ, the Pedestrian Plaza, where streets are closed to vehicular traffic from Walnut Street to Broad Street, along East Ridgewood Avenue, will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from June 3 – October 9, 2023. There will be music and entertainment in Memorial Park at Van Neste Square on Saturday night and Sunday. Each month will be culturally themed, and there will be special activities for children. Please plan to come and shop, dine, and enjoy the entertainment this summer.
An Unoccupied Painter’s Van Burst into Flames on East Ridgewood Avenue

Ridgewood NJ, an unoccupied painter’s van burst into flames while parked in the rear of an occupied commercial building located in the 200 block of East Ridgewood Avenue, Ridgewood early Monday afternoon, 04/24. Several nearby businesses were evacuated by Ridgewood Police officers as a precaution. No injuries were reported in the blaze, which was quickly extinguished by Ridgewood firefighters. The van was totaled. An investigation is underway to determine what caused the fire.

The weather held and this fun family event took place in Memorial Park at Van Neste Square, located along East Ridgewood Avenue .

Ridgewood NJ, the Recycling Center is accepting hard, molded, Styrofoam packaging inserts, which are found in boxes for televisions and computers. This does not include food containers and packing peanuts. Please do not throw this into your garbage or put it out for bulk pickup. The recycled Styrofoam is used to make picture frames and molding for houses.
