Trenton NJ,  New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission Chief Administrator Sue Fulton has announced that all New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission agency and road testing facilities will be closed effective immediately as a measure to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. We anticipate re-opening in two weeks, on Monday, March 30, 2020.

All driver licenses, non-driver IDs, vehicle registrations, and inspection stickers expiring before May 31 have been extended by two months.

Most renewals, replacements, changes of address, and other transactions can be processed online at NJMVC.gov

“My name is Ryan Ang from Ang1 Trainings . I am a 16 year old Filipino basketball trainer located in Bergen County . Due to the recent outbreak  of COVID 19 ,athletes have not been able to participate in any basketball activities including personal and group training in fear of catching the Coronavirus . Moreover I am unable to conduct my training sessions as it might jeopardize the health and safety of both myself and the athletes . Despite all the negative effects of COVID 19 ,there is come positivity beyond the virus . I have developed a way athletes can train with me without jeopardizing my safety and their safety. I will be conducting online training through the use of social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram .My first ever free online training session will be held today from 11 am to 1130 am  . The first cases of AIDS were described in June 1981 and it took more than two years to identify the virus (HIV) causing the disease. With COVID-19, the first cases of severe pneumonia were reported in China on December 31, 2019 and by January 7 the virus had already been identified. The genome was available on day 10.

We already know that it is a new coronavirus from group 2B, of the same family as SARS, which we have called SARSCoV2. The disease is called COVID-19. It is thought to be related to coronavirus from bats. Genetic analyses have confirmed it has a recent natural origin (between the end of November and the beginning of December) and that, although viruses live by mutating,its mutation rate may not be very high.
