Englewood Man Still Missing One Year Later

Englewood NJ, according to the Englewood police Ruben Wilson  is still missing after one year . Police say Wilson was last seen wearing burgundy-colored pants and a New York Yankees baseball cap, according to a flyer the Englewood Police distributed. He is 6 feet tall and about 240 pounds. Mr. Wilson suffers from dementia .

BERGEN COUNTY PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE TAKES CONTROL OF ENGLEWOOD POLICE DEPARTMENT

Englewood NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announces that effective April 2, 2021, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office will take charge of the Englewood Police Department. On December 15, 2021, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the City of Englewood entered into a Memorandum of Agreement under which the Prosecutor’s Office assumed direction and control of the Englewood Police Department’s Internal Affairs functions. The present action under which the Prosecutor’s Office will assume full direction and control of the police department is occasioned by the unanticipated retirement of Englewood Chief of Police Lawrence Suffern on April 1, 2021.

Englewood NJ, A Bergen County, New Jersey, man made his initial court appearance today on charges of conspiring to commit money laundering, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced.

Ramfis Minaya, 23, of Englewood, New Jersey, is charged by complaint with one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering. He appeared by videoconference today before U.S. Magistrate Judge Leda Dunn Wettre.

Four People were Arrested at a Black Lives Matter Rally in Englewood on Saturday

Englewood NJ,  Four people were arrested at a Black Lives Matter rally in Englewood on Saturday. The BLM protest was a small crowd of 15 or so.  There did seem to be as many police cars as protesters .
Many communities and police departments are on edge over BLM protests and tempers and patients seem to be very short.  The protesters engaged the police in an altercation and police responded by making arrests.

Englewood NJ, At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, basketball trainer Ryan Ang of Ang1 Trainings  took his basketball training skills online. He is the youngest basketball trainer in New Jersey and 

possibly the whole country. Ryan Ang has been featured on USA Today, People Magazine,  People TV, ABC7 EyeWitness News New York, Northjersey.com and many more media 

platforms. He was not featured on those media platforms because he is the youngest basketball  trainer, but was featured because of his innovative idea of online live basketball training 

sessions.
