Glen Rock NJ, on February 16th at 9:33 AM,Glen Rock Police Patrols and EMS were dispatched to the Glen Rock Dog Park on Doremus Avenue in response to a 9-1-1 report of a person bitten by a dog. Upon arrival, it was found that a Wyckoff woman, who was with her dog at the dog park, was bitten by a pit bull mix belonging to a Prospect Park woman. The responding officers and EMTs provided first aid and the victim was transported by ambulance to the emergency room at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood.

Glen Rock NJ, on January 11th at 6:42 PM, the manager of the Kosher Nosh Deli on Prospect Street requested Glen Rock Police assistance with a male subject who was reportedly harassing a female employee in the store. Other employees interceded and asked the man to leave the store. The responding officer was able to locate the subject who was found to be in an intoxicated state.

Glen Rock NJ, on January 5th at 8:39 AM ,Glen Rock Police Patrols, along with Glen Rock Firefighters, were dispatched to a commercial building on the 500 block of Broad Street on a reported structure fire. Upon arrival officers found the interior filled with smoke with both the fire and carbon dioxide alarms sounding. The source of the fire was determined to be under the roof, where contractors had been working the prior day. Glen Rock Firefighters extinguished the fire with the support of the Fair Lawn and Hawthorne Fire Departments. The building department deemed the structure to be unsafe and a continued investigation is being conducted by Fire Investigation and Fire Prevention officials.

Glen Rock NJ, on January 2nd at 4:43 PMGlen Rock D/Sgt. James Calaski and P.O. Sarah Orsita investigated a Door Dash delivery driver who was involved in package thefts from the front steps of residences on Warren Place and Ashton Place on December 31, 2023. P.O. James Mc Gill, who took the initial report, was able to obtain a clear video image of the actor as well as the license plate number from his vehicle.

Glen Rock NJ, a two (2) vehicle Sunday afternoon, 01/07, collision at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Park Avenue, Glen Rock resulted in two (2) injuries requiring ambulance transportation to Hackensack University Medical Center’s main campus. A heavily damaged KIA SUV was towed from the scene. One (1) of those injured was a 9-year old boy.

Student Council members assisted officers in loading up the toys for delivery this afternoon. All of the toys will benefit local children in need. Glen Rock NJ, A two (2) vehicle late Saturday morning, 12/16, collision at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Rodney Street, Glen Rock resulted in the rollover of a Honda SUV, whose probationary driver was transported by a Glen Rock EMS ambulance to Hackensack University Medical Center’s main campus for treatment of minor injuries. A hydraulic lift tow truck righted the vehicle and removed it from the scene. Glen Rock Police, Glen Rock Fire Department, and Glen Rock EMS responded to the incident.

Glen Rock NJ, while in police custody for alleged DUI, the driver of white colored SUV was transported by a Glen Rock EMS ambulance to The Valley Hospital following a Monday evening, 12/04, crash in the 600 block of Harristown Road, Glen Rock. Police allege that at approximately 6:15 PM, the driver stuck a utility pole prior to slamming head on into a Borough owned tree and coming to rest. There were no passengers in the SUV when it crashed. A tow truck was dispatched to remove the heavily damaged vehicle from the roadway. Harristown Road was temporarily closed between Berkeley Place and Ridge Road while emergency crews worked.
