Quintana, bank executives  and others, gathered to mark the occasion which was held on-site at 260 Chestnut Street in the Ironbound  section of the city.

Clifton NJ, the 88-year-old dilapidated Route 3 Bridge will finally be renovated to the tune of $143 million, the Department of Transportation announced last week. 

Construction begins in two years…forty years after one of our local celebrities, Thomas “The King of Con” Giacomaro, busted up the guardrails during a mysterious, high-speed chase that made the newspapers.

The businessman tells the tale in his memoir, The King of Con, which is in pre-production for a docuseries to be filmed in North Jersey this year.

Northeast Jersey Sees More Investment in Parks and Natural Green Spaces

New Jersey has more space dedicated to parks and nature than any other state. While green areas already account for over 20 percent of land in the state, more than $100 million is to be invested in protecting natural areas, improving existing parks and adding new urban green spaces. From sprawling passive parks to revamped outdoor spaces with facilities for recreational activities, several projects in Northeast Jersey aim to create and preserve more green space despite continued development throughout the region. Even in built up areas, walking trails, parks and landscaped communal gardens will connect communities and enhance local neighborhoods.

Hoboken NJ, in a display of what is right with our system, a high turnout of Hoboken voters overwhelmingly rejected a tax and spend boondoggle in the dead of winter. A broad coalition realized that spending $250 million on a new high school was simply not in the interest of education or fiscal health for the City. A leading member of the successful group was the renewed Hoboken Republican Party led by Chairman Joseph Branco and augmented by Young Republican Chair Pavel Sokolov.
