Ridgewood NJ, Christie’s International Real Estate Northern New Jersey announced today the expansion of their business and the transfer of their corporate headquarters to Ridgewood, NJ. 

Christie’s is moving into 40 W. Ridgewood Avenue, within Ridgewood’s Historic District, conveniently located right next to the existing Christie’s Northern New Jersey office.

NJ Realtors Offers Scholarships to Exceptional Students

Ridgewood NJ,  This summer New Jersey Realtors Educational Foundation awarded $53,700 in scholarships to 39 students pursuing a college education.

Since 1969, the NJ Realtors Educational Foundation has awarded scholarships to hundreds of deserving students that are enrolled or will be enrolled in an undergraduate program. The selection process for these students included their academic achievements, financial need, interest in real estate endeavors, and contributions to family, school, and communities.

NJ REALTORS: MAY HOUSING NUMBERS INDICATE RECOVERY ON THE WAY

Ridgewood NJ, Recovery is coming for the housing market, according to statewide data from New Jersey Realtors. While much of the percentage changes are still in the red, the overall picture is positive, with numbers for closings and sales trending upward.

Year-over-year numbers are still in negative territory however, the month-to-month changes for the total market indicate growth. In April there were just 6,162 pending sales, while May pending sales jumped to 10,237. New listings for April totaled 7,272 but May rose to 12,822.

According to data aggregated by New Jersey Realtors from the eight multiple listing services in the state, while new listings, pending sales, closed sales, and homes for sale are down double digits, prices are stable and on the rise.

Trenton NJ, New Jersey Realtors housing data for March confirms the market has taken a hit due to pandemic restrictions in the state, but the true picture of the impact likely won’t be clear until the April and May data becomes available.

“When the restrictions began to be implemented in the beginning of March, there was still a lot of business in the pipeline,” said New Jersey Realtors Chief Executive Officer Jarrod Grasso. “You can tell from the data that this is not a typical March when we normally begin to see the spring selling season kick off.”
