Ridgewood NJ, according to the National Weather Service an offshore low is expected to produce snow, possibly mixed with rain at times, Saturday night into Sunday. The potential exists for 4 to 8 inches of snow.

The Army Corps of Engineers Pays Visit to Village of Ridgewood

Ridgewood NJ, on Tuesday , the Village Manager Keith Kazmark, Village Engineer Chris Rutishauser and the Superintendent of Schools Mark Schwarz met with the US Army Corps. of Engineers, the NJ DEP and Rep. Gottheimer’s office to discuss short term and long term solutions for flooding in the Village. These discussions are said to be in very preliminary stages and the USACE has extensive data gathering to undertake.

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood firefighters quickly snuffed out a New Years Eve, 12/31. dumpster fire at 17 South Walnut Street, Ridgewood. A Ridgewood Police patrol officer had attempted to extinguish the blaze with a dry chemical fire extinguisher, but was unsuccessful at doing so. No injuries were reported in the incident, and damage appeared to have been confined to the dumpster’s contents.
