Ridgewood NJ, just when we thought we’d heard it all, several people who listened in on Tuesday morning’s open Zoom meeting of Ridgewood’s joint BOE/VOR Fields Committee emailed us to report that during the meeting, Parks, Recreation and Conservation Board Chairman Richard Brooks publicly trashed unnamed individuals who “don’t pay taxes,” but make use of Ridgewood’s parks.

Ridgewood NJ, no injuries were reported following a Tuesday morning, 10/03, crash in which a Mazda CX5 slammed into a landscaper’s equipment trailer in the 300 block of Franklin Turnpike, Ridgewood. The Mazda was removed from the scene by a flatbed tow truck. Ridgewood Police Patrol Officer Michael Karcher investigated the incident.

Ridgewood NJ, great weather and community spirit at the Ridgewood PBA’s Food Truck Festival supporting Pediatric Cancer research. RHS Project Interact organized volunteers who helped out during the Food Truck Festival. Police Chief Lyons, Fire Chief Judge, and Councilman Weitz have volunteered for the dunk tank at the Food Truck Festival. All proceeds will go directly towards pediatric cancer research.

Ridgewood NJ, the Bamboo House is celebrating 36 years in Ridgewood!! One of the many small businesses that make our Village so special! On October 1st the Bamboo House celebrated 36 years in Ridgewood . October 1st. It is the second oldest restaurant in the Village of Ridgewood after Daily Treat . Sherry was a single mom from Taiwan who didn’t speak English when she arrived.  Wow, 35 years in business is quite an achievement and an amazing success story !
