Excessively Dry Conditions Causing Village of Ridgewood To Expand its Leaf Collection Efforts

Ridgewood NJ, according to Village Manger Keith Kazmark ,due to the excessively dry conditions this season, many trees throughout the Village have dropped their leaves earlier than expected, leading to an increase in leaf accumulation in our neighborhoods. Out of an abundance of caution for fire safety, the Department of Public Works will be expanding its leaf collection hours beginning Wednesday, November 13, 2024.
