Ridgewood NJ, we received this from our friends at the Boca Raton Museum of Art
According to the National School Boards Association, kids who study art are four times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement. Studies show that art helps kids earn higher report card grades because skills developed through art lead to better learning in other areas.

Peter Saul’s multi-colored canvas has become synonymous with contemporary anti-authoritarian art. The 86-year-old Canadian continues to shock the world with his art’s repulsive elements that blend in with the techno-colors of Saul’s paintings. His work dates back to the fifties, and his artwork continues to be displayed in the most renowned art galleries. Saul’s art is also known to be very vulgar and grotesque, which has received critique; however, this reaction to his art is what Saul seeks. If you have recently been seeing Saul’s name plastered over social media and you’re wondering who he is, read on to discover more about the anti-authoritarian artist.

First of all I would like to “thank” whatever neighbor complained about my son’s band playing today. These teenagers could be out drinking and doing drugs but instead are playing music every weekend together in my garage!!I thought Ridgewood was sooooo into the “arts”???Sorry for the rant but can’t believe that the police would have to shut them down when playing from 4-6 pm???I call about dogs barking at 3am and can’t get anything done!!!
