UPDATE: Stanford University Study Suggests COVID 19 More Widespread and Much Earlier Contact than Previously Thought

Santa Clara Ca, researchers have struggled to assess the true spread of the COVID 19 virus. Initial results from a Northern California study on coronavirus antibodies suggest the virus has circulated much more widely than previously thought, according to a report released Friday.

1,530 of the 3840 Deaths due to COVID 19 in New Jersey were in Nursing Homes

Ridgewood NJ,  New Jersey currently has 78,467 confirmed cases of COVID 19, or which 3840 have died.

The State has 384 long-term care facilities in the state reporting COVID-19 cases, for a total of 9,094 cases. Tragically, 1,530 COVID-19 deaths have been reported in these facilities. This is the breakdown by county according to the NJ Department of Health dashboard . Clearing the focus should be on protecting residents in long term care facilities , not banning walking in parks or playing golf .

Lance v. McGreevey : NJ State Constitution Prohibits Borrowing Money to Balance the State Budget

TRENTON NJ,   Assemblyman Jay Webber said there is no getting around the state constitution that prohibits borrowing money to balance the state budget, even in times of war or an emergency.“Borrowed funds cannot be used as income to balance the state budget,” said Webber (R-Morris). “The state Supreme Court in Lance v. McGreevey has already looked at this and given all the guidance we need.”

Consumers May Now Be Eligible for Refunds or Credits on Health Clubs Memberships

Ridgewood NJ,  Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal and the Division of Consumer Affairs today announced that consumers may be eligible for partial refunds or credits from their health club memberships, now that gyms across the state have been closed for 30 days under Executive Orders issued by Governor Phil Murphy to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Driver Killed after Being Hit By Pascack Valley Line train

New bridge Landing NJ, a driver died Tuesday afternoon after his SUV was struck by an NJ Transit train in Bergen County. The Pascack Valley Line train, which was traveling to Hoboken, hit the SUV at 4:40 p.m. just east of the New Bridge Landing Station near the borough’s border with Hackensack. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene . This particular spot had several train car collisions in recent months .

It was unclear exactly where the car was when it was hit by the train, which had only 10 people on board, including crew and passengers  Pascack Valley Line service was temporarily suspended at New Bridge Landing station while NJ Transit Police were at the scene investigating and substitute bus service was being provided between Anderson Street and River Edge Station.

Ridgewood Train Station Has Become a Haven For Homeless

Ridgewood NJ , a homeless guy has moved in along taxi station and train tracks at the Ridgewood train Station . In recent years the Ridgewood train station has become a haven for homeless urinating and defecating all over the place.

In Plainview, musical concerts and festivals are not rare things. Quite likely, you have been to at least a few of them, if not more. What emotions or thoughts do you carry when you come back home? Some performances may have been so mesmerizing that you felt them emotionally moving.
