The Health Crisis Defeated, but New Jersey is left with an economic crisis

Joshua Sotomayor Einstein
NJ GOP State Committeeman

In his April 21 op-ed, published in Spotlight NJ, Jack Ciattarelli aptly points out that after the health crisis is defeated, New Jersey will be left with an economic crisis unless a non-partisan approach to rebuilding the New Jersey state economy is adopted. The status quo proposal coming out of the Trenton goof troop – State Senate leader Sweeney and his super partisans, as well as failed Governor Phil Murphy, offer the already economically suffering residents of our state higher increased cost of living and greater unaffordability. This leads New Jersey residents to ask, why is there no non or bi-partisan commission to identify cuts to state spending when all across the state New Jerseyans are in danger of a depression? Why has none in Trenton proposed a pay cut for politicians and the politically connected when the regular Jane and Joe who support them are facing a potentially tough economic time? Why is the lessening of the tax burden on working and middle-class families not on the agenda for after the health crisis ends but before the financial one ramps up?

Glen Rock NJ, US President Donald Trump revealed the Blueprint For Testing Plans And Rapid Response Programs, which outlines plans to increase testing capacity to 2 million tests per week across the country. The Blueprint delineates roles and responsibilities of the federal government, state/local/tribal governments, and the private sector in order to reach this goal. While the Blueprint does not call specific actors or companies to action, pharmacy chain CVS said in response that it will partner with the federal government to provide drive-through testing at its facilities, among other potential activities. Scaling up testing capacity is a major factor in many plans to safely reopen parts of the economy in the coming weeks and months. If you Don’t Want More High Density Housing Dont Vote for Pam Perron or Mahmoud Hamza

Ridgewood NJ, Your ballots will be coming soon.  When it comes to The Village Council, DO NOT VOTE FOR PAM PERRON OR MAHMOUD HAMZA.  Pam Perron in zoom meetings has stated that she is (1) in favor of high-density housing (2) in favor of moving all elections to November, in which case citizens would no longer be able to vote on proposed Board of Education budgets (3) in favor of combining the Village Council and the Board of Education (educate yourself, Pam, this cannot be done at the local level, it has to be done by state legislators) (4) in favor of giving big money to the library.  Somehow she also thinks she could be a negotiator for police and fire contracts, something that Village Councilmen do not do.  Mahmoud Hamza is in favor of high density housing and he believes astro turf is safe.  Worst of all, both of these candidates are backed by the worst of the worst – Halaby, Aronsohn, Sonenfeld, Hauck, Harwin, Winograd, Phillips, Willett, Lehman and more have signed on for them.  If you want to see our village go all the way downhill on the course that Aronsohn started, vote for them.  If you want to preserve Ridgewood with sensible development and smart, informed representatives, vote LORRAINE REYNOLDS, Sergio Alegre, and Bernadette Walsh.

Understanding No-Fault States and Insurance Policies

If you are a driver, you are probably aware of the importance of having insurance coverage. Other than being a legal requirement, vehicle insurance provides financial protection in case of an accident, or any other loss that happens while driving. There are many types of insurance coverage for drivers, and no-fault insurance is among the most common covers.

No-fault insurance is an exclusive coverage that allows drivers to file claims for medical expenses and bodily injuries, irrespective of who was at fault. The primary aim of this cover is to minimize the multiple court lawsuits which create obstacles in the reimbursement process of the injured.

Hirsh Singh: “Open Up The New Jersey Economy”

LINWOOD NJ, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Hirsh Singh called for the calibrated reopening of the New Jersey economy and ending the lockdown of the state. While speaking to his supporters, Singh presented his plan that would not only open up the economy, but also help contain the spread of COVID-19.

According to Singh’s plan, we should continue all efforts to contain and control the virus in the areas that have been hit the hardest, but in areas where we have healthy low-risk individuals able to work and which have not been as seriously hit as the areas adjoining New York City, we must immediately start reopening for humanitarian, constitutional, and economic reasons even as we put social distancing norms into place and maintain such norms.
