Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, a bright green Lamborghini was one of three (3) vehicles involved in a Sunday afternoon, 10/24, collision in the 700 block of East Saddle River Road, Ho-Ho-Kus. One (1) individual, reportedly a passenger in the Lambo, sustained a non-life threatening injury and was transported by ambulance to The Valley Hospital. A flatbed tow truck removed the heavily damaged Lambo and a Nissan Sentra from the scene. The third vehicle involved, a Jeep Cherokee, was able to be driven away on its own power. Traffic on East Saddle River Road near Bogert Road in Ho-Ho-Kus was diverted while emergency responders worked at the scene.

Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, the Ho-Ho-Kus Police Department announced the promotion of Greg McBain to the rank of Captain. Greg started in 2004 as a dispatcher and became a police officer in 2005. He was later assigned to the detective bureau. In 2018, he was promoted to Detective Sergeant. Greg is married to his wife, Katie and has two beautiful daughters. Greg also coaches the varsity girls basketball team. He enjoys weight lifting, collecting sports cards and memorabilia.
Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, according to the Ho-Ho-Kus Police Department Friday night two vehicles were stolen within the Borough of Ho-Ho-Kus. One from W. Saddle River Road and the other from Edgewood Drive , Key fobs were left in the vehicles. If any residents have cameras in the area, please check for any suspicious activity last night and contact headquarters. Once again, we remind all – please REMOVE your key fobs from vehicles !!

Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, Tuesday evening Police Officer Kevin Rodrigo was formally sworn-in by Borough Council President Douglas Troast. The ceremony took place in the Council Chambers during the Mayor & Council meeting. Officer Rodrigo’s father held the Bible. The Borough of Ho-Ho-Kus extends its best wishes to Officer Rodrigo for a successful career with the Ho-Ho-Kus Police Department.
Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, at approximately 1223hrs on Thurday June 24th, the Ho-Ho-Kus Fire Department was alerted to a reported fire in the area of 1 Hollywood Avenue.
Initial reports from Police units confirmed a working fire on the exterior of building 6 at Dale Brook Industrial Park.
Due to these reports, as well as the occupancy type, mutual aid was quickly requested bringing a Ridgewood engine, Waldwick engine and Wyckoff tower ladder to the scene.
Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of KYLE KUBICKI (DOB: 5/07/1992; single; former teacher at Northern Highlands High School) of 185 Chestnut Drive, Wayne, New Jersey on charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Providing Obscenity to a Minor. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love, and the Ho-Ho-Kus Police Department under the direction of Officer in Charge Sergeant Mike LaCroix.
Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, an SUV traveling southbound on Route 17 in Ho-Ho-Kus spun out of control on Sunday morning, 03/28, and skidded across the rain slicked highway before slamming into a tree just south of the Hollywood Avenue entrance/exit ramp. The SUV’s driver and a juvenile passenger refused medical attention after being evaluated by Ho-Ho-Kus EMS. Saddle River Police assisted Ho-Ho-Kus Police with traffic control. A tow truck removed the wrecked vehicle.
Ho-Ho- Kus NJ , Yesterday at approximately 12:00 the Ho-Ho- Kus Fire Department was alerted to a home on Spruce Place for a report of smoke emanating from the first floor of the residence.
Initial reports from Police and Fire units confirmed a heavy smoke condition in the basement.
Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, the Bergen Prosecutors Office and the Ho-Ho-Kus Police Department are requesting information from the public regarding a hit-and-run collision, which resulted in the victim sustaining serious injuries.

Ho Ho kus NJ, According to the Ho-Ho-Kus Volunteer Fire Department , at approximately 16:52 hours Department 7 responded to a residence on Bernard Place for a fallen tree onto a house and vehicle with an occupant trapped inside the vehicle. Arriving units advised live wires were involved and reported access problems to the trapped occupant. PSE&G was dispatched before rescue operations could begin. Once power was secured to the area companies extricated the occupant who was transferred to the care of EMS with non-life threatening injuries. The home involved suffered extensive structural damage.
