ATLANTIC CITY NJ, After the second bill to eliminate mandatory minimums for public corruption failed to receive the Governor’s signature, former Deputy Attorney General Claire Swift and former Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian sharply criticized Assemblymen John Armato and Vince Mazzeo today for wasting the government’s time and putting the personal interests of politicians ahead of the public.
Trenton, NJ: Following the NJGOP’s call for Governor Phil Murphy to fully lift his unilateral economic restrictions, today he announced a return to 100% capacity for businesses, provided that patrons are distanced at least six feet apart from one another (which will undoubtedly still have an adverse effect on small businesses with limited capacity).
Sommerville NJ, Republican gubernatorial frontrunner Jack Ciattarelli and successful small businessman released the following statement on his proposal for reopening New Jersey’s economy, promoting personal responsibility and choice, and getting our children back to in-person learning:

Demarest NJ, It is with deepest sadness and grief that we share the heartbreaking news that long-serving State Senator Gerry Cardinale (R-39), passed away this morning at Pascack Valley Hospital after a brief illness (not Covid-related). He was 86 years old. Senator Cardinale faithfully served the 39th district for 42 years. He is the second longest serving Senator in New Jersey history.

River Vale NJ, Assemblywomen Holly Schepisi has decided to break rank and run against Senator Cardinale. In a Facebook post she made her announcement”
“For anyone who supports or follows me I’ve made an incredibly difficult decision and I am not running for another term in the Assembly. I have decided to run for Senate.”
The latest attacks by Jose Arango, titular Chair of the Hudson County Republican Party, and his political retainers targeting me is demonstrable evidence of why it is imperative political bad actors, like him, are driven from the GOP. Instead of growing the party and supporting Republican candidates, Arango and his minion’s attack those, such as myself, who do. He does this to preserve his de facto job working for the county Democrats.
Somerville NJ, MBA/CPA, successful small businessman and conservative outsider Jack Ciattarelli today outlined his “Contract with New Jersey Republicans,” a specific, five-point plan focused on revitalizing the NJGOP with dynamic leadership, a clear message and a concerted effort to bring party leaders and conservative grassroots activists together to drain the swamp in Trenton and win elections across the state.
As an NJ State Republican Committeeman I had high hopes for the state GOP Chairmanship of Doug Steinhardt. I was elected the same time as Steinhardt was “supposed” to be coronated chairman as he was then GOP gubernatorial candidate Kim Guadagno’s pick for the position (his selection to the position was postponed to avoid the appearance of impropriety as his wife had recently been appointed to the state parole board). Roughly half a year later Steinhardt was made chair and I was thrilled to have what seemed to be an energetic state GOP party leader at the steering wheel. I believed Steinhardt would lead from the front, grow the party, support draining the swamp, and most of all – I did not see him trying to turn the party into a personal political fiefdom. I was wrong – Doug Steinhardt’s tenure as GOP State Chairman has been a failure. I do not presume to speak for all the grassroots, Trump lovers, those activists who came of political age during the Tea Party movement (all of which I am a part) or any of the many other partners that make up the coalition that is the Republican Party in New Jersey. I can only address what I have seen firsthand and that has been one unforced error and disaster after another led by a glad-handing man I once had high hopes for.
Middletown NJ, New Jersey state Senate candidate David Winkler Starts Governor Murphy Recall Process. David Winkler is a highly decorated Combat Veteran of both the US Marine Corps and the US Army for 14 years. David is formerly the Chief Executive Officer of a National 501(C)3 Veterans nonprofit organization called Wings for Warriors which has helped thousands of Veterans Nationwide. David cares about protecting the American Dream and her people. David is dedicated to fighting for all Americans and his district, and will be the people’s champion on Capitol Hill.
With nearly every provisional vote counted across all four counties in New Jersey’s 5th Congressional District, it is time to turn the page on the 2020 election cycle and look ahead. A deficit of 17 percentage points on election night, was quickly reduced by more than 60% to approximately 7½ % today. The decision I made more than 19 months ago, to run for Federal office as an outsider and a first-time candidate, was the best and most rewarding decision I’ve ever made.
Former NJ Lt Governor Kim Guadagno’s ad hominem attack on President Trump, published in the Star-Ledger on November 22, in which she admonishes the President to concede the election despite the fact that Electoral College has not yet met, and ignores the ongoing investigations into dozens of sworn affidavits on voting irregularities, shows how disconnected she is from the party she was once a part of. Guadagno has been MIA in the GOP since her phoned-in and failed gubernatorial run, including this election in which she helped zero Republican Congressional candidates. Moreover, the fact that according to Rasmussen 30% of Democrats believe there was voter fraud/criminality in the election, demonstrates how out of touch she is even with a significant portion of the Democrat Party she is now inexplicably attempting to court.
Trenton NJ, The Republican members of the Senate Budget & Appropriations Committee — Senate Republican Budget Officer Steven Oroho (R-24), Senator Sam Thompson (R-12), Senator Declan O’Scanlon (R-13), and Senator Michael Testa (R-1) — issued the following background brief today on the Murphy Administration’s pending closing on $4 billion of emergency bonds:
Wyckoff NJ, Assemblyman Christopher DePhillips’s bill to permit corporations to use blockchain for certain recordkeeping requirements passed the Assembly Science, Innovation and Technology Committee Wednesday.
