Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Police, Ridgewood Fire Department, and Ridgewood EMS personnel rushed to aid the adult male driver of a black 4-door sedan who was injured after crashing into a tree head on at the intersection of Bellair Road and Lincoln Avenue, Ridgewood early Saturday morning, 07/10. The victim was rushed by ambulance to The Valley Hospital for treatment. A flatbed tow truck removed the wreckage. It is believed that a medical episode may have triggered the crash.

Movies on the Beach at Graydon Pool – July 16th (Rain Date 7/17) – “The Lion King”, August 6th (Rain Date 8/7) – “Little Giants”. Gates open at 7:30PM, movies start after dusk. Bring a chair or blanket. Flashlights are recommended. Admission Fee $5/per person. You do not need to be a Graydon Pool member to attend the movie.

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Pedestrian Plaza Starts On July 10th And Runs Through Saturday, September 4th, 2021. Dine outside with live entertainment on the street. Walk through town to check out the live entertainment. Dance in the park, have a picnic and bring your blankets and chairs to listen to great music and possibly some comedy.

Due to dangerously high water levels that have left the docks under water and caused our shallow areas to become deeper than normal and unsafe for our patrons, we will be closing the Graydon Pool facility today, Friday, July 9. All classes and instruction will also be cancelled.

Ridgewood NJ, as previously reported on the Ridgewood blog that Vandals stole a small 4-wheel drive utility vehicle owned by the Village of Ridgewood. Several sources say there is video of the kids and the suspects are being identified . The Same sources suggest that several kids were slightly hurt during the act.

Ridgewood NJ, Vandals stole a small 4-wheel drive utility vehicle owned by the Village of Ridgewood, and took the the golf cart sized unit for a short joy ride in a municipal parking lot before overturning it on its side late Wednesday evening, 07/07. Witnesses to the incident reported seeing a small group of male juveniles, none of whom appeared to have been injured, run from the scene after the vehicle crashed. A search of the area by several Ridgewood Police patrol units failed to turn up the perpetrators. Ridgewood firefighters were dispatched to stabilize the vehicle, drain its large water tank, and right it in preparation for removal by a flatbed tow truck. Video footage from a nearby security camera was turned over to Ridgewood Police detectives for investigatory purposes. And yes the keys were left in the vehicle !

According to the PSE&G website , PSE&G will be working in Ridgewood, May 2021 to replace aging cast iron gas pipes with new, durable plastic and/or coated steel piping – ensuring the continued safety and reliability of our gas system well into the future.
